rig-pig Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) i got another boot lid today £10 what a bargain, so i swapped it over as i want a new spoiler and the other original would have left hole's in the boot lid but now im starting to like the look of the de-spoiler look what you think ??? before now with the other boot lid Edited November 29, 2009 by rig-pig
terzo neil Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 i would stick with the spoiler on mate but thats me
camcq Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 personaly Craig id keep it. Its like taking away its idea
Phil MC Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Put a mid-level spoiler on it. You should be able to pick one up for a few quid .
green_goblin Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I think it looks cool as feck mate.....makes me want to take my one off!!!!
Phil MC Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 (edited) Create a Poll and we'll take a vote on it (None, Mid or High level) . Edited November 28, 2009 by Phil MC
Big 'D' Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Its your choice at the end of the day mate, I prefer to be different and have gone for the spoiler off option too Each to their own. Its still a scoob regardless. Cheers Iain
StrikE Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Spoiler on for me m8 car just looks 'naked' without it
jcscoob Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 I think it looks cool as feck mate.....makes me want to take my one off!!!! So it looks like this
rig-pig Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 Create a Poll and we'll take a vote on it (None, Mid or High level) . added a poll it will be a high spoiler or none
scouk Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 added a poll it will be a high spoiler or none Would have said Low or mid spoiler.. But voted for none.. Some classics can get away with no rear wing, Newages not so much IMHO. Over in the US de-winging seems pretty popular and my bro's Bug WRX never had a wing on it.. But BIG wings (and scoops for that matter) on classics just doesn't look right to me.. Prefer the more standard low/mid wings and if you have none you can easily add one on later It's different and each to their own, depends on how the rest of the car looks and whether or not it balances out.. But I think the Impreza looks too plain without one, just needs an extra detail at the back which seems missing.. ... having said all that... I'm a big fan of RB5's .. which of course is a classic with a big prodrive wing on the back
rig-pig Posted November 29, 2009 Author Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) lol na OTT or none i got the scoob in place of my bike so its a toy iv got an every day car too but i do like the RB5's Mmmm ??? Edited November 29, 2009 by rig-pig
mystery machine Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Personally think it'd look best with a 'mid-level' classic spoiler, but if it's a choice between 'high-level' or 'nowt', then I choose high-level
p1ggm Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 i like it, its more unusual to see a scoob without one. looks much cleaner
bobbyc Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I prefer them with some form of spoiler but it's your decision at the end of the day, enjoy
Frank_STI Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I like the classics with the standard (mid level) spoiler personally
braveheart Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Personally High spoiler all the way, however it's your car, or even put a mid level spoiler on its just looks naked lol....nice car tho

dipsy Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I just stuck with mid level spoiler on the my00 uk turbo i had . Each to there own on this
scouk Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Not all RB5's had a big prodrive wing on the back only WR sports Good point... But they should have all come with the WRSport pack IMHO... P.s. *drool*
rig-pig Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 well spoiler-less now just sold the spoiler and boot lid that were on it think i will be on the look out for a WR sports wing
