StewartyBoy Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 I'm Elephant as well. 24 with a 2004 Saab Aero 280hp with mods declared. Had a driving ban and also a few points on there. Not a Subaru but £500 fully comp aint bad at all, closest was a grand.

ciaranrb5 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Ha ha im only 100 voluntary excess and 200 compulsary I think. Also I can't spell
thefastone Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Yeah, but that means that its excess is ACTUALLY £300!!! Which I'm sure is par for the course... Also, Firefox has a built in Spellchecker...
tomwrx08 Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 im 453 with admiral, 6 yrs ncd protected im 32
jamesm Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 £640 with Keith Michaels (£300 excess). 30 year old with a reasonably standard 2002 WRX, 8 years NCB but an at fault claim in 2007, business use and parked on the road. Now going to have it garaged so hopefully it will come down a wee bit. No one else ever comes close to KM abet I have never tried A-plan. Will need to give them a go at renewal time.
scoobymark Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Just moved to A plan also, saved me a tidy sum The service of taking money from you is always great Wait until you have a claim, hope the policy is not through Marker Study
ciaranrb5 Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Yeah, but that means that its excess is ACTUALLY £300!!! Which I'm sure is par for the course...Also, Firefox has a built in Spellchecker... Firefox does have a built in spell checker and thats why I have it at home. Unfortunatly my work insists on using internet explorer
d5orr Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Mines is £950 with nfu mutual. I'm 26 but this is the first car i have had insured in my name so 0 years nc bonus! car is 04 sti
dark Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Have been using A-Plan for the last 3 years for 2 cars plus home insurance. The level of service is impressive, nothing is ever too much trouble and they always call back when I have questions regarding renewals, modifications, etc. Currently going through a claim for my wife's car which was rear-ended in traffic and again the support has been superb. Not only their advise at the time of the accident but also the service since, almost daily calls or emails regarding the status of the claim. Wife's car is currently at SWB in Bathgate and we have a shiney Passat estate as a loaner! Cheers, Mark
Joe G Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I'm with elephant, £645 fully comp on my 03 sti spec c. 25 with 8 years no claims. The cheeky buggers tried to put my renewal quote up by £200 from the year before but as soon as i said i could get a cheaper quote with their sister company admiral they instantly matched their quote. Not bad as the best i could get elsewhere was £850.
Mike M Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 We're just having a claim on the wife's 08 STI with A plan (through groupama) need to change all locks and keys (wife's keys were stolen), superb service, couldn't have been better.
bobbyc Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Just got this years renewal in from A-plan for the GB 57 plate £500 fully comp protected, £300 excess with all mod's declared Adrian Flux quoted £490 with £450 excess & all mod's declared just waiting on Keith Michaels getting back to me
