The 235 tyres seem to stick out a fair bit - is this okay/legal?

Think i like them, kinda hoping I do because was looking at similar design for my wagon.

What size of wheels did you have before hand, can see a darker alloy in back of one of the pics.

Might want to throw up a pic of the car with its previous wheels on for comparison.

Good fun with the Toyo 888's though!

Looking good fella, as you know - wheels make a massive differecne to a car - especially a Scoob.

Nice wheels - it may just be me but the finish looks a bit matt on them?

Also, definitely needs lowered a wee touch - the back tyre in particular looks like it might touch the wheel arch though?

Have they been powder coated by any chance?

Yes they're powder-coated Dunk ,you don't get them in Gold so turrifftyres had a set of silver ones painted

Nice wheels.....are they the correct offset though? Look pretty wide.

Offset is less 35mm i think, will this affect anything? Tyres are 235 's ,had 225 's on before.

Thats a bit different from the norm, but they do say that the wrong offset is the new look!

OEM wheels are usually 50 to 55mm offset with aftermarkets usually around 45 to 48mm, not seen too many 35mm offset wheels on an Impreza but they must be quite wide wheels 8.5 or even 9" to have 235mm tyres fitted, so with wider wheels than usual ,will require the offset to be adjusted, so 35mm could be right enough.

I contacted Rota themselves and gave all the details of my car and the wheel details and they said that they fit no problem,i was a bit worried about the offset and how far they stick out also the guy told me it was 225 tyres not 235 ,so not sure if i'm keeping them yet.The guy i bought them from had a 22b and was going to put them on it - hence the offset and wide tyre to fill the arches but ended up selling the car,so the wheels/tyres haven't even been on the road yet.

I think they look great mate! Really really good. Where did you get them from? ;)

Cheers ,bought them from a former 22b owner who had them in his garage -never been on the roads yet -just trial fitted them then sold his car.

Coilovers are next on the agenda- new alloys are sitting in the shed until i decide if i want them on or not, also fitted these brand new Prodrive mudflaps today as well - bought them from the same guy he wanted £30 for them ; i nearly bit his arm off and couldn't believe it.........

Ah, so thats your one, seen it kicking about Elgin a few times.

The photo you took there with the mudflaps and new wheels looks good, damn good, wheel comes out just far enough to make a aggresive low wide stance from behind.

Your new wheels suit the car BRILLIANTLY - and I'm a real 'third-party alloy' sceptic ;)

I'd seriously consider those if I was looking to replace my wheels... do you know how they compare with the OEM wheels, weight-wise? (very important for me, that).
