scoobykev Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Very nice chief. I spotted this for sale last week and thought that'll do nicely ,then figured she hates driving my car as it is, never mind having to climb over a cage to get in Jealous? me

Big Gordon Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Will need to have a trawl thru the old Max Power mags, i'm sure i have the one with the car featured. Can't wait to see it in the flesh
braveheart Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Sounds a cracking motor with some tasty mods, and another classic nice 1, not too keen on the yellow but each to our own... It will be good to see it in action look forward to seeing it..

johnnyr6 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Can't believe i missed this post. Nice motah m8. I used to have a dvd with it featured. Johnny
johnnyr6 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Nope, still got the dvd, sounds awesome m8. Is it still running the same system and spec? Johnny.
the squiggle Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 (edited) a nice L 555 BA? plate would look the danglies on this grant Thought all you guys had snaffled them up, well all the good ones anyway Johnny, Spec is similar to Japan but improved. I think the car has 380's in it and not the 550's as mentioned in the Beast DVD. It was running a HKS F-Con V ECU in Japan, had rock solid Trial Quantum Coilovers and the interior was not as tidy as it is just now. The previous owner spent the money in the right places to ring her up to scratch, probably find one or two more things to do when it comes up the road but still looking forward to it arriving net week Edited February 18, 2009 by The Squiggle
RA Dunk Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Thought all you guys had snaffled them up, well all the good ones anyway nope there`s still some left, not too badly priced either TBH
RS Grant Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Must be pretty cool owning something that a LOT of people remember... really happy for you, be interesting to see what sort of figures this makes and how well it gets around Knockhill. Cheers, Grant
colin_ross Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 be interesting to see what sort of figures this makes and how well it gets around Knockhill. Knockhill??? I reckon with will go in Grant's living room and never be let out of his sight.

the squiggle Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Knockhill???I reckon with will go in Grant's living room and never be let out of his sight. I think it will look good in the hall of Imys flat. Joking dear Could do alot of damage with an off at Knockers but we will see how it feels and how scared/confident i am driving it. Grant, this car is the next natural step for me after the Bomber. I was about to spend a couple of grand on the suspension and enjoy that. When this came up with all the same bits as mine and then some plus it had the suspension upgrades in place that i was planning for the Blue car so it was a no brainer that this was ideal.

micra_wrc Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I think it will look good in the hall of Imys flat.Joking dear ... hmph just as well. you would have got the same answer to your "i want to bid for a SWRT bumper and mount it on the wall" question plus my hall is choc full of 200 odd empty A1 poster tubes at the moment
