John and I finally got our diaries to match and agreed to meet up on Monday of this week, unfortunately, that couldn't be said for the weather, and it rained all day!! Thank the Lord for gazebo's!! 1/4 inside the garage and 3/4 outside under the gazebo, in acse you're wondering if the full car was inside the garage there would be no room to move around it.

John's car is a stock 16000 mile RB320 in very nice condition, it was just requiring a machine polish for all the swirls and polish and wax for winter protection.

Apologies if the photo's aren't great as it was a really dull day, and I'm no photographer!!

As it arrive at 8am on a typical Scottish morning -

Once washed, clay bar'd and dried did all the wee marks become apparent -

We then taped up the whole car, with John's help we almost used up 3 full rolls of tape, there appears to be a lot of trim on this car!!!

and the owner himself, taking a wee breather!!

Next, the wheels were polished inside and out, sealed and the tyres dressed -

Then, the next few hours passed with loads of maching polishing, then sealing and waxing the paintwork

At the end we were soaked, frozen, knackered but very happy with the deep black gloss finish!!

That's all for this year folks!!

Top job Mike, a lot of effort but it was well worth it, the results were absolutely stunning, the bacon rolls were ace as well. Sharon hasnt had a chance to see the car in daylight but I am sure she will be over the moon.

Mike,

Fantastic job, car as always looks very nice.

John, do you not fancy a wee trip to Penicuik tomorrow morning and join the Borders meet?

Would be good to see you and Sharon and the motor.

Nice work as per usual Mike. Must've been cold, few shaky pics in there :o . Rotten weather does take a lot of the enjoyment out of it doesn't it ! Was working on the wifes car yesterday and just as I went to top up with some Werkstatt it started raining - "ah f~*# it" I think were the words, left for another day !

Nice vehicle by the way, like the Impreza in black (why I have one) and the RB320 does look aggressive !

Too right Col, think I'll start getting my beauty sleep now. 20 week scan is next week, so 20 weeks (hopefully) and then you'll never hear from me again!!!
