Today my impreza was stolen from outside my place of work, on south street in Glasgow opposite GTG training centre, sometime between the hours of 7.30am and 4.00pm

If anyone has seen it, or knows anything about it, could they please let me know by PM, or if they are offered any of the parts listed below, as i'm pretty sure it'll be in bits by now

The car is a white imported STI, 1996 p plate, registration P142 CRN

It was fitted with a Sparco Monza Steering wheel

BC coilovers (black and anodised red/pink in colour)

17" gold RB5 wheels

Apexi Induction Kit

ARC top mount alloy intercooler

Turbo timer (forget the make its black and green in colour)

Carbon interior bits, gearknob, handbrake handle, dash and door panel surrounds

Blue spotlights either side of the front numberplate

And it had a picture of a subaru pig on the back, all of which can be seen in the following photographs.

That's pish mate :(

I'll certainly keep my eyes peeled, and I'll take a closer look at anything I see parked up that looks like your motor.

Hope you get things sorted soon, whether that means actually getting the car back, or getting hold of a nice replacement with the insurance money.

As above will keep my eyes well pealed for it down my way & let you know if its seen. Feel for you man. Hope you get it back A OK.

It's always a possibility that it has been stolen to be broken down. Sickening, considering the work you've put into it.

Still, if you're resigned to that, one comfort you can draw is from thinking about what you might replace it with.

It's the inconvenience (paperwork, telephone calls) etc that piss me off about this kind of thing.

It'll probably definetley come to nothing, but i've been on the phone and i'm going a drive just now

Replace it? i put in an offer for a 250k house today! I'll be replacing it with a pair of running shoes

One of our private clients owns the BP garage at South Street, i will ask him in the morning to check the CCTV in case they came back up that way.

Will update in the morning.

C'mon mate, you don't mean to tell us you were depending on a car insurance payout to help fund your new house purchase? Your car insurance should cover you for a replacement motor, no...?

Must be a nice house, BTW... :(

No, i wasn't bargaining on insurance money to put towards a house, but i just spent 2k on the car that i won't get back, and they'll no doubt offer me **** money for my car, i'll not be able to replace my car to something of that standard with the money they'll offer me, and if i get given a wedge, tbh i'll probably end up having more important things to spend it on than a nice car, seeing as between us, me and my gf currently have a stolen scoob, a shogun, 2 106's and a merc horse lorry!

Apparently it was spotted just after 7 in kilsyth tonight though, with 3 guys in it, updated the police and we'll see what happens

Oh, and Davie, that'd be ace, if you could ask him/her to have a look. Much appreciated

Flucking Cr4p

My Impreza was parked less than a mile along the road at my work today, and my mate was at a course at the GTG training centre, not that that helps you at all.

Hope it turns up

gutted for ya m8,

the barstewards got mine last year and it was also seen for a few days / weeks after, then it totally disapeared.

good chance it will be the same milton scumbags that stole mine, worth cruising around the milton / possil area.

don't hold your breathe for the police to do much as i am still wating on my wallet (thrown from my car) to be returned. I suppose 14months for some dna testing is about standard

will keep a look out as iam fae kilsyth area.

Cheers guys, the car had no security fitted. When i bought it, it was in dire need of tyres, suspension and a clutch. I got it back on friday there from getting the clutch done, and i'd done the other stuff. When i got paid in 2 weeks it was going for an alarm. That'll teach me.

Took a drive about the Milton area on Monday night, didn't see anything, but i swear, if i catch the guy that done it, it won't be pretty. I've been promised its not in any of the "japanese" garages in glasgow, a couple of people are still trying to find out a few things for me though.

The thing that's annoying me most, is the steering wheel. That was my Sparco steering wheel i've had in several cars, that my mother bought me a few christmas's ago, and i love it to bits. I can go replace it, but that's not the point.

Got the house, in case any ones interested. Been an expensive week for me!
