Gary popped up to see Jim tonight and he made pretty good progress by himself! ;)

Looking forward to joining this whole subaru thing in the near future! Just not as mental as Jimser

Will be impressive when its done.

as already has been said not much happening this week

fitted 24mm anti roll bars

also fitted ap calipers but the backing plate/stone guard was a nightmare to remove as

couldnt get at the bolts holding it for the driveshafts so just took off everything in the way;front shocker,driveshaft etc

engines going back in on sat so should get quite a bit done next week

That's a nice set of brakes Jim. Very nice indeed.

Are they the same size as Peters? They certainly appeared to be damn useful when I was humbled by a short drive in the chocolate mobile.

if the big 1's are too big and the small 1's too small then

i'll cut the big 1's down...phew

think so,the discs are godspeeds 335mmx32mm

got quite a bit done on the car today

started by making a gasket for and fitting new throttle body

wrapped and fitted them and up-pipe

also took off gearbox cradle to fit new shifter bushes but they had already been

done so thats another part to add to the for sale list lol

the old 1 is a vf34 john which your using already :cussing:

good for 350bhp

thinking of a bigger turbo already John lol.

hmmm not right now... but, if I do go down the PPG route eventually, then I might as well give it all the torque it can handle! But that is a L-O-N-G way off, if ever :rotfl:

yesterday we fitted my old meercat exhaust,gary had it on his car but

took it off when selling.the downpipe of this system has now been on 5 cars

and the rest of the system 4.

also re-fitted radiator and power steering reservior and other bits and bobs of re-connecting

hoses etc.

did have a bit of a worrying moment when i realised i had a bit of chocolate on the block
