  1. As promised, the Douce Bigalo posing pouch for the turbo It's a bit of a cramped photo, but it's only a wee turbo and it's buried deep in there
  2. I'm not going to ponder on it any more, makes me shiver to think what could possibly happen, even more so If I were ever to find out where the plebs lived...
  3. Nah, I don't see it as a missing seat, more space saving for shopping I was thinking about a full beer crate, that way it wont move around on the twisties....and when you get thirsty...
  4. Aye the problem for me would be not knowing what damage they had done to it and always have that nagging feeling....
  5. I'm sure he wont read this bit anyway, being of that 'age' he may have trouble keeping up
  6. Aye I'm sure she will, its a lot of car for anyone that doesnt know these cars...and it would make a great family car I'm sure, must be a great selling point for the missus
  7. Were so dead, well at least you are Stu for saying such nasty things about him
  8. You could have your own mini meets in work
  9. Ah nice one, thanks old chap, certainly makes it harder to move at the top of the house - now where did put the beat traps...
  10. 35 Mark? that aint old, ask Matty, with him at the tender age of 47 it makes you a mere teenager
  11. I had to go for a grey one, dull colour but doesn't half keep the turbo nice and warm in the cold mornings now It seems to work pretty well on keeping my air filter intake temps down, so far, the FMIC tube from the turbo out to the FMIC is cool to touch, no bbq hot so hopefully no hot air at the throttle body anymore, not even after sitting at the lights either - the throttle body bypass took care of that When it arrived, it looked like a leather posing pouch, Douce Bigalo styley, I wasn't sure either to keep it, wear it and show the missus or put it in the car
  12. Yes Matty it would only be an air cooler flat 6 993 that could tear me away from Doris, nothing much else could persuade me As for the RS4's, don't they run on old VW engines nowadays, I heard the Audi lumps weren't upto much either Hey Stu, I can vouch for fozzies, respectible and family like in one hand, and a complete riot on the other Ours is only the XT, but compared to mine, its a luxurious beastie
  13. Hehe nice one, the lad has indeed some style I think this could be a new trend of stickering up the grill badge
  14. More worrying - 'Local Videos', now that sends shivers down my spine
  15. Glad to hear that the kids are ok and the wifes injury isn't as bad as you initially feared, fingers crossed getting back into a car after this wont be an issue. Bad news about the car though, but if its fixable it saves looking for another one - just make sure farmer giles coughs up for the lot.
  16. Lets you and me be friends - that is scary stuff would trust a man with glasses
  17. Doh, one day out, hope you had a great day Mark, happy birthday young man
  18. Aye I'm liking the new look to the site, it seems far easier to read wrt the layout than the previous version, still might take a wee bit to fully navigate and find out the new bits....well done to all involved
  19. Dang thats a lot of people in this area now
  20. Got my vote too old chap
  21. That's not so good news about the thievery...we had our back windows of the house attempted to be broken into 18 months ago, couldn't get past the security uPVC frames so they legged it. They had also turned the security light around so it wouldn't go off, cunning little buggers, not been back since. If they try it again and if I catch them, I will be breaking fingers/arms/legs, even if its 'wrong' in the eyes of the law to defend your property or family....anyhoo fingers crossed this wont happen
  22. Hi Andy, I was working for British Energy at the time replacing all their networking kit in their remote emergency sites, so when any of the Nuclear sites blew up/were attacked they could control it all 20 miles away, a bit of a scary time if it did.. I do IT security kind of stuff as well, doing network designs/builds/tests for the MoJ buggering about with firewalls/switches/load balancers and that kind of funky thing
  23. Aye it seems the more they are driven, the better they respond, not to say to rag them to bits, but driven respectfully I had to stop on the way back for a nature break and checked the tyre temps at the time, they were damn hot but a little sticky too, always handy that I did a jaunt from home to Dumfries Council buildings and back one day for an install, not one I would like to repeat but definitely not stressful
  24. Well with this being the first day of Autumn and with the colder mornings and evenings drawing in I thought I'd treat the car to a Beenie and keep it cosy It only came in one colour, I was after a nice yellow one, but never mind
