They dedicated the events this year to Colin McRae and made a donation to the jerviswood trust

What a great time i had in Las Vegas, it was the end of SEMA week there (the biggest car show in the USA) and although i didnt go to it, the local subaru club had loads of meets arranged. The guys from www.flat4lv.com treated me like a VIP and gave me a fantastic welcome. I met Mr. Daijiro Inada the founder of D1 Grand Prix, Tokyo Auto Salon, and Option magazine, as well as glenn cohen from prosport gauges, dan Hurwitz from mach v motorsports and a host of others. I even won some prizes in the raffle. an ecutek easy ecu from dynocomp.com, my choice off the k+n website, a front lip spoiler which i gave back cos it wouldnt fit in my suitcase lol, 3 wrc dvd's, prodrive t shirt+hat and a load of other wee goodies. Well thats me back, had an brilliant 2 weeks, saw and did loads and the flat4lv guys treated me like a celeb. will post up some pics later but heres a wee one of me with a real live bunnygirl, shes off to hughs mansion this week for some big party (couldnt get me an invite though) Noel

Well my bags are nearly packed. Couldnt manage to fit my Spec D in though but im sure there will be 1 or 2 cars at this to keep me smiling Noel

I think Graham has a fair point, giving it all to jerviswood means that we dont actually see where its going whereas the usual santa cruise sees us all coming together, decorating cars, cruising through town, and seeing the look on the kids faces as we give them their presents. there is also the good press we get each year for the club. Jerviswood will benefit greatly when the SIDC as a whole, remember Colin next year, so no one is gonna lose out if we stick to the usual xmas santa cruise. I will go with the majority though. Noel

I have had a request from a guy in america looking to use photos from the Colin McRae memorial day for their magazine If anyone can help out i will forward his email to you pm Noel Noel, Thank you for your response. Wow you went to the service for Colin? It must have been very emotional. Some people from Subaru of America attended the service too. I saw Colin in Aug when he was in Los Angeles for the XGames and I was one of the last photographers who shot him professionally. Several WRC magazines will be running my photos in their tribute to McRae issue. Before Colin left for Scotland, he gave ne his home address in Lanark. Our club, Flat4LV was able to send his family a big poster of Colin with everyone's message just before the service. We also had a tribute meet in Las Vegas on 20th Oct. Everyone around the world will miss him. anyway, I have a favor to ask... Since I work for US Subaru magazine, Subiesport magazine, www.subiesport.com I am wondering if you or anyone in your club can donate the photos from the service. cars lining up / people gathering by the church, and etc would be nice. Since we have really tight deadline that is coming up in 2 days, if you can let me know soon, that would be great. We will run photographer's credit for sure.
