is it maybe possible to reset the dash to make sure its not that? you could do it on the new minis, i seen the guy do it after i fitted a few parts to it, it ran thru a full check of all the electrics and checks all the gauges are working right?

sounds like sender unit in the tank? might be faulty, you need to bridge the connections for it, see if the gauge goes to full, if it does its the unit, but if its a 56 plate i would be going right back to subaru for warranty

i would say make sure you get good warranty if buying from calders, never heard of anyone buying a good car from there tbh, althou i always have a nosey at the website and they do have some nice looking cars good luck with it thou, and you never know it might be a great car if possible maybe take it to a specialist before you buy it, if they have nothing to hide then they shouldnt have a problem with you doing that

Yeah it put up with a lot of abuse that car, 13.1 was the bast when it was mildy tuned, never got to race it when i done the front mount and re map as a mechanic crashed it when i was planning on racing, so dont know what ot would do now, G.Mac i remember that well, step 1 of 1/4 mile, turn off traction control lol, i remember it launching hard then just stopping i thought it had broke
