  1. Nice bit of kitt there man! Pardon the pun
  2. Pretty horrific like!! From the damage seems like they were doing well more than 55mph i think, but who knows?
  3. << That is P1GGM's Scoob mate... >> Cheers Grant, you must have one hell of a motor if you are geting 12.6s runs!! If you see a silver scoob with a carbon bonnet next crail give me a race and show me what you got Nice meeting you p1ggm hopefully give you another run after a few more mods, but good race really got the heart pumping and thats what its all about!! Once again very nice looking bit of scooby you have there, got any more carbon mods in mind? Hope to see it and yourself about more often!
  4. << to a 13.3 at crail yesterday.....i have been practicing >> Well in there mate, thats one hell of an improvement!! Was pleased with my performance too, got a 13.4s run which blew me away considering all i have is a decat on a uk MY00. Managed to nail the start perfectly and got a 0.3s improvement on my previous best..... ave it!! Cant wait to get this thing remapped, then i can give you P1 boys a run for ya money!! Some very tasty looking scobies up yesterday, especially the Newage STi with the beastly carbon bonnet, boot and carbon trim down the windows .... Nice Good meeting some more scooby drivers there
  5. Yeah them wheels look pretty sweet! I would make sure that they give you some decent tyres with them mind
  6. Nice looking bit of kit, So whens the first gig mate?
  7. It would make a great run about car away from the Scooby
  8. Been away for a while so apologies for bring up an old thread but just wanted to give Jon a huge pat on the back for a blistering 12.8s on the 1/4 mile. That scoob is seriously fast, keep up the good work man!! If you dont mind, what mods have you done to the car to get that pace, should have a bit off cash soon so looking for hints on the next mods! << classic uk scoobs rule >> Well put Jasonb!! Long live the Classic UK beasts
  9. Nice one Andy what a result!!!! Think there is no end to what you can do to your Scoob, keep it up!
  10. << didnt get the same performance using CVL as i did with the power boost >> I am in agreement as i tried the CVL and octane plus while at crail and found in comparison that i got better times while using the millers octane plus. Funnily enough i found that my fastest time at crail had been while i was just using plain old Optimax, so a bit undecided about any of the benifits it offers. Although times can vary due to many reasons so may give the old octane boost another go!! If you do want to try some i recon the millers octane plus in my opinion, plus it works out cheaper
  11. A couple of my mates have got their hands on some imported PSP's. Had a go on ridge racer and the version of Need for Speed Underground they have brought out and they are fantastic. The graphics were much better than expected and game play is very fluid. Really am tempted to get a hold of one as most of the time when i am not cruising i am stuck on a bus travelling travelling the old Endinburgh to Glasgow Motivator route, so would really pass the time nicely. Only draw back is that if i bought on that would be precious pennies away from car mods, tough choice!! Still think the graphics and speed of play on the PS2 are a notch above the PSP but that is to be expected!! Think i am going to wait up for the PS3 as it gives me time to spend more money on the car untill it is released, plus Grand Turismo 4 and Juiced on the PS2 are doing me fine at the moment!!!
  12. Nice pics Ally was good meeting you and checking out your nice RB5 in the person. I particularlly like the pic of the siver scoob with the carbon bonnet : ) , but i would say that! Was cool meeting up with a few other folk from here, hope everyone had a good time. It was quite a sight seeing so many nice looking scoobies (and skylines) in one place and the HKS drift car was a real work of art!!
  13. Very nice mate!!! Glad to see you got it fitted no probs in the end. Dont know why they dont bother putting these splitters as standard on the cars as it perfectly matches the trim from the side skirts and the back bumper trim thats on the car originally. Got any more plans on the bodywork then?? Still waiting on some dry weather so i can paint the calipers. but anytime soon!!
  14. Sorry to hear it man, hope you get the car sorted soon and nice and cheap
  15. Like spooks not sure if i could make it too meet you guys at 10am but with any luck should be able to make it up to AWD for a little while before i must dash off for a mates leaving bash. Hopefully see some of you lot there!!
  16. Sorry man should have said his number is 0131 440 9654 . Good luck! Maybe see you about on Saturday at AWD can show you how my P1 splitter looks
  17. << There is no exuse, i had my car on the first week i got it totaly standard and f#(kin loved it >> Yeah man, i must get beat by most scoobs i run against but i love the rush you get giving it some up the track. I remember racing JC in Jasonb's baby when i had mine completely standard and getting completely smoked, but i loved every minute of it!!
  18. << who fitted your splitter??? ........ don't mind doing the scoop myself but don't fancy trying to fit the splitter.... my mate was gonna do it, but he's on holiday and i'm an impatient git !!! >> Got mine sorted by a guy called Lawrence at LCI Autobody in Loanhead, postcode is EH20 9LZ if you need direction from Multimap! . Lawrence actually used to work for Nobles in Penicuk and loves his scoobies, made me feel better about letting him do some work on the car When i got my splitter it was origonally broken during postage and so Lawrence actually fixed the spillter aswell as painting and fitting. The splitter itself if pretty easy to fit and if it is anything like the one i got it should just pop right into place. Then it is a case of bonding down the splitter to the bumper also extra support screws can be placed into the overlapping section of the splitter with the bumper at the wheel arches (if that makes sense!). When i first put mine on it held fine with just the support screws and no extra bonding, leaving it unbonded leaves you the option of removing it seperately from the bumper if it were to get damaged (but easy to be stolen!!) Hope that some of use for you man!! Post some pics when you get it put on
  19. I feel for you Des! Had similar inccident a bit ago when i just got the dent in my front wing while parked near my house, needed a whole new wing!! Then when it got fixed up the next day at tollcross car park Edinburgh i got a dent and scrape put in the same wing. Similarly mine the one of about ten cars in the car park and was even parked away from othr cars, still a mystery how it could have happened!! Really annoys me that things like this are out of your control and 9/10 you end up having to pay for things to be sorted out. I am glad you got the detail of the guilty party, hope you get stuff sorted out soon for you car mate
  20. Looks nice man! Got a P1 style splitter on my scoob really brings out the front end, bet it will complete your RB5 a real treat! Was wondering what paint you used to paint your calipers, mine are looking very dull and could do with a similar treatment.
  21. Much fun had by myself, shame i still dont have a clue about how my times were, still waiting for the update from the Crail website! I think the biggest surprise i had was getting beaten by a guy in a 200sx, was a good race right down to the line just how i like them!! << I had qualified with a 12.7 but ended up not going as i was working >> Sorry to hear it man was looking forward to checking out your car down the strip again, no worries there will be more!! If you dont mind me asking what time of times were people getting? Was interested to see what times people get given their levels of modifications to the car. Personally my best time has been 13.70 and that is with back box, centre decat, down pipe, green cotton filter and a baileys dump valve. Not bad considering with no mods my best had been 14.33. Given the mods i have now i was wondering what it will take to reduce this down to below 13 s and what sort of torque and bhp figure would you be looking at?
  22. Nice pics Man!! Good day at Crail last Sunday, with scoobies a plentyful! Good to get another race against ya JC Scoob, maybe next time after a few choice mods we can have that rematch! Just had to mention, did anyone see the red scooby that was about (different to the one in the pic!). Had a really cool looking front bumper on it and the rest of the car werent half bad too.! Thought it was a great example of modded up Impreza, good work to that owner!!
  23. Way to go Andy that car is truely beastly, everytime i see it in action it just gets faster good work!! Keep up the good work, always a pleasure watching you burning rubber! Was not about to watch the final and only heard about the skyline winning in the end, did anyone know what happened to Andys car? maybe Andy was tired of hogging all the glory and gave some one else a turn he he he. Although the Icelandic car at TOTB was very amazingly quick I recon Andy could be in line for the title of fastest scooby on the plannet! I hope i am there when that happens, Bring it on!
