right chaps here goes i borrowed my mothers laptop this morning and ive been trying to connect it to my internet just about all day with no joy i use cable broadband with a thomson speedial 3300 adsl the laptop has wireless connection and i picked up my neighbours connection earlier but now i cant get anything at all. If my pc is swithed on should the laptop not be able to pick the signal up To connect my internet to the laptop should i be able to unplug the usb from the pc and plug it straight into the laptop. would really appreciate any help p.s could a mod remove the other thread in the wanted ads
