  1. looks good to me, got a complaint though, going by his gallery you would have thought he spent most of his career driving a focus, not alot of pics of L 555 Bat in it considering this is the car he won the championship in
  2. Nice write up Pedro, looking forward to a pax with you round knockers some time!
  3. ive been unemployed for three months as well, all plans of a summer of trackdays and sprints now cancelled
  4. thats easy sorted though
  5. you still after these wheels then?

  7. ditto, where the MLR fails Scottish Scoobies (the real one ) too the rescue! wont be making it myself as i have no car, job, money, life lol
  8. naaa, i think "boxy" was the appropriate word lol
  9. i dont mind them on the new ages as they tend to fit in with the "boxy" shape of them , but they seem to be all out of proportion and dont suit the lines on a classic
  10. no need to tell me about that, i have one! your does look good though
  11. Well done to you
  12. if im at home or even have a car ill be there, the date does clash with a sprint at boyndie though John so might affect numbers considering alot of the cars on track last year were sprinters
  13. looks schweet, im with cullenmin though, newage scoops belong on newages apart from that 10/10 from me, must say it looks like its been well looked after
  14. im assuming its the same as a classic, remove airbox on drivers side for access, passenger side i find it easier with the battery and washer bottle removed, some people actually prefer to do it from underneath, pull your leads then its a one for one change, its a bit of a pain to do first time due to the location of them and not being able to actually see whats happening, took me around 3 hours first time i did it, got it down to around 40 mins now from switch off too switch on
  15. you can get them from halfords for less than 20
  16. any idea what cause this? could have been bloody disasterous
  17. have you checked the coil packs or done a compression test before pulling the engine?
  18. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=133379 apparently if your a member you dont get it, time to get your hard earned out i suppose
  19. im not getting them, there was a post in the off topic section about this the other day
  20. Dale i ran my UK Turbo with a full decat dump valve and up rated fuel pump for long enough without a remap, from what i understand the UK Turbo`s are safe enough to do this unlike the Jap imports
  21. bloody hell SN is slow tonight i couldent even load the page
  22. good point, unless its a type R cage being fitted to a four door?
  23. you sure? i thought with the Type R`s doors being slightly longer that the B pillar would be further back as well, if thats the case then the cage its self would sit further back as well be intresting to find out the truth though, i think John Stevenson would be the man to clear it up as he`s just moved from a four door to a two door, lets hope he`s on later tonight
  24. is the cage sitting further forward than the B pillar? if so i would say its from a four door
  25. i dont know what the differences are Ian but there are some differences of sorts, thats why they have both a two door and four door version of roll cages, with the two door having longer doors than the four door i would expect the cage too sit further towards the rear in a type r
