  5. Yes, Grant was tramping on as i joined you all at the end of the Elvanfoot road, pleased to say i just about managed to keep up with you , wilky and the other white sti, next time though i will not be driving with 5 in the car, i want to push the car to its limits and see what happens, the quote of the day came from Grant, i was ratching about in the boot trying to find a screw to fix down my spoiler, i turned to Grant with a screwdriver in my hand and he said " feel free to take something from my engine" lovely gesture bud , your a diamond!!!!

  15. Sorry to hear your bad news Billy, i know exactly how you feel, only last week i was contemplating getting rid of mine, i've had two bumps on the doors in car parks , two twats scraping my car somewhere and even got hit by a bloody shooping trolley scraping the rear bumper, estimated cost to fill holes and repaint runs to nearly £1000, not to forget a cracked windscreen last friday that needed replacing, today however has convinced me my scooby is staying with me
  16. The pace was stunning at times, i think everyone was caught up in it, i was until i felt my spoiler popping then had to back off, we are so lucky to have such good driving roads down here, once again i cant praise Grant and Imy enough, fantastic organisation, the kids loved it. Some of the cars on display today were stunning and i loved the drone and rip of some of those exhausts, i'm hooked for life now, The final thought from me goes out to some of the villagers bemused looks as we hit town and as for that poor bugger in the fiesta as 20 scoobs went roaring by in the space of 30 seconds, his face i will never forget, it was a picture, i canny lip read but it sure looked like he was saying..........Holy $hit , what the feck is going on , pmsl.

  19. Great day Grant, well organised, thank you very much for all!!! Great roads as well, i apologise for leaving at the end, i went up the high street to try and find a grub screw to secure my rear spoiler and my daughter complained of not feeling to well , on checking her she was totally covered in a rash so i drove straight to Dumfries Royal Infirmary with a spoiler flapping about in the wind, all is ok with her though, she has chicken pox and even had time to get to Halfords and get the bolts to fix the spoiler. Thanks again for a good day out. Gordon
  20. Just been outside, quite mild down here this morning and dry, too dark to see anything else, looks like it is going to be nice though, i really need to get to work now lol, i started 6 minutes ago and i still have a 20 mile drive to get there
  21. yes and ive slept in for work lol!!!!!

  23. Pete could you possibly arrange a wreath if we were to all chip in with a few quid?
  24. I posted a thread a while back to say about the noise i had coming from the rear drivers side wheel, if the noise had not been so distinct from the wheel i would have thought the exhaust was trailing on the ground ( that will let you know what type of noise it is) I took it in to my mate to get it checked out and after stripping down the wheel he found a small stone had managed to get in through the backing plate of the brake calipers, it is unreal how such a small stone can make such a loud noise!!! Anyhow, the same noise reappeared this morning as usual loud as hell, only this time i knew what i was looking for, sure enough another small stone, i removed the stone and everything fine again, on the back of the backing plate there is a small gap which i assume is to allow air in to help cool the brakes, this is clearly where the stones are getting in, has anyone experienced this before and has anyone any suggestions how to remedy this problem, all comments welcome!!!! jambo
  25. Jason , clearly you never studied law, if there is two witnesses that can coroborate then they can charge you, regardless if you have witnesses or not, your witnesses will only be called in to testify if the pf decides you have a case to answer to in court
