  9. I could make this one, will let you know at 5pm tonight, directions are a little vague though, i know how to get to jedburgh easily enough, finding the stages might pose a problem, i suppose it will be signposted well enough , i will be in my my02 mica blue wrx with the wrx mudflaps, if you see me gimme a holler. This will be my first ever rally, i really am going into the unknown. Cheers Gordon
  10. ok , i get your drift about rally, now i really need to go to one and find out what im missing, here is a thought for the mad march one, since we are going down to newton stewart and back through kirkcudbright, why not check out the david coulthard museum in twynolm, if your a car fanatic you will love the f1 cars on display as well as all the f1 kit, it is a truly fantastic day out.
  11. thank you swiggs
  12. fecking pmsl at Andys car, quality mate, hell, what a sound, want to swap exhausts if only for an hour?
  13. I had a friend who was at the Malcolm Wilson rally last week(spectating) in Cockermouth ( love that name) last week and he had to get out of the way pretty sharpish as a car lost control, he is a big boy as well which was just as well for the focus that lost control, god only knows how much damage he would have caused to that ford if it hit him head on, for the record i believe Malcolm Wilsons son won the race, i disagree with you guys however about formula 1 being boring, i have driven a f1 car and the things we take for granted in our scooby's just dont equate behind a car that is pulling over 800 bhp,the acceleration is truly unbelievable, add some rain and its downright crazy, anyway each to their own , i believe this years f1 championship will make compulsive viewing
  14. I think you have just hit the nail on the head, rallying does not get much time on air and i have never been to a rally, f1 does a great marketing job and gets every race covered, i can only imagine how a rally would be to watch, maybe i should get myself to one, thank you all for your input
  15. I adore my scooby so much, love the thrill of driving it, but i just cant get into the rally thing thing whatsoever. I follow formula one avidly but this rally thing just does not work for me, please tell me what i am missing!!!!!

  20. Sorted, larger self tappers and some help from the engineering department at work has it implanted firmly as hell, now if anyone needs the same info maybe i can help you
  21. will these fit a my02 buggy? If so we could be in business!!
  22. The problem i have is that the panel is flush, therefore i cant get a nut behind it, perhaps i need to try larger self tappers, thanks for advice though Carl
  23. I have 4 mudflaps on my my02 buggy, front driver side one keeps coming loose though, it is the only one i have a problem with, does anyone know how i can get a good fix onto the car? thanks gordon
  24. Sorry mate, always tough on the eyes to see a scooby crunched up, but like everyone else has said, at least your ok!! Good luck with the new scooby , ps, shop around for car insurance, many companies do protected no claims discount which allow you 2 claims per year before taking you back 10 % in your no claims discounted bonus. Just for the record i use liverpool victoria as my insurers, first class service!! Regards Gordon
