As title thread implies, are 4 pot brakes standard on the front wheels of wrx 2002 onwards?

I bought one off Cal i think it was, im no mechanic but it was ridiculously easy to fit and makes a lovely whoosh, 1 year down the line i still aint bored with it

I'm disappointed to note that Dumfries & Galloway has no regional forum, i know we are a small region in terms of population but in area we are one of the largest, perhaps even the largest, we also have more scoobies per head versus population than any other region in scotland, come on guys give us some recognition down here and get this sorted, after all we are scottish and proud of it. Sometimes when i change gear i hear a dull thud coming from the underside of the car, today it was an almighty thud causing the cd to jump and it shook the car, i am assuming it is the gearbox, has anyone any ideas as to what this noise is and whats involved with fixing it, i still have one month of my warranty left but ive done some mods and feel that if this is a gearbox problem subaru may try and wriggle out of their liability, and advice would be really welcome. lovely rip from the magnex exhaust, if i never had the afterburner i would have chosen a magnex, three cats removed from the scooby should be good for about 30 bhp
