Not wishing to name/shame at the moment, trading standards were on the case, but as you said Russell, they've covered their own back.
At first the company were willing to swap them/refund, until they noticed that one of the wheels had a slight scuff on the outer rim...game over.
This happened long after the corrosion, and seeing as i wasn't the only person to have this problem, this scuff obviously didn't cause the corrosion.
I even have an email from the supplier stating it was a faulty batch....but still no luck.
