  1. hi mate,i take it you have tried it and if so what sort of power gains did you get? and how easy is it to fit,you get instructions but is it plug in and play? i see you have to cut a resistor on the wrx ecu once installed, cheers again
  2. have any of you guys used one of these?,they are on ebay now for 190 quid and apparently they raise boost set fuel and timing properly and is claimed to raise up to 290bhp on a pre 96 turbo or wrx, with an induction and exhaust system obviously. cheers
  3. controls valve timing i think mate, kinda like the vtec in hondas, sounds awesome at 8000rpm anyway!! haha
  4. i sold my scoob, had a few other cars, pulsar ect and got an m3 and wouldnt look back.i steered clear of the evo because of the said vanos problems and got the 3 litre single vanos "bombproof" engine.286bhp right out the packet with no turbo to wory about?as for the servicing,in my opinion,if you buy a 5-10 year old car,you would be far cheaper servicing it your self and forgetting the stamps, wont make much difference when come to sell and you will save hundreds every service.they aint as quick as a modded scoob but you wont break it.
  5. i dont know mate.....cheap respray and it would be a nice retro supercar hahaha, just make sure its on next sunday and bring my tenner back with you cos its goin back in my pooch!! nice one!
  6. that aint that steep considering it is an open session giving you as much track time as you want.they are a lot safer for expensive motors as well
  7. haha, nice one baldy!!your time will come boy!!gear shift problem will be sorted for next one mate.still managed to clock a 1.08 in the wee fiesta when we did get it right, pretty shat for scooby standards but not bad for xrt eh?? will take the money back next one no probs mate and we did actualy pass clown boy on track and have it on film.
  8. see if you can get some pics of the wee cosworth power fiesta i will be driving p***ing all over baldyadonises various sheds mate!! nice one!! p.s. baldy....hope you have taken some more weight off that mr2 ,its starting to become a chore lapping you haha.c u up there mate!!
  9. case would not stand if objectet if he said his speedo read 30 as the difference between brand new tyres to barely legal ones would throw ur speedo out that much anyway! i personaly have never heard of anyone being done for a speed that close to the limit but if you are willing to accept these things who knows?
  10. nice one baldy!! the wee fiesta will give you a fright this time boy 160 brake 170lbft.....mr2 EATER haha its been on a diet and now weighs less than a crisp packet(took some cable ties off).would not recomend anyone taking a tidy scoob on though! and if you do, stay well clear of blue mr2 and red xr3i as they seem to think they are racing at cowdenbeith!
  11. will be there wi the wee white flash smoking baldyadonis as per usual!!! will take on anyone here thats up for it as long as you dont have a fast car and cant drive very well haha
  12. bummer mate, have you got any witnesses? and if so or not, does he know??better politely telling him you have a quote to fix and if he wants to cough up without going through insurance,he can otherwise get the ball rolling!!if he is a soliciter he shouldn't be short of a bob or 2 anyways.hope you get it sorted ok
  13. russs,i am interested in taking a non scoob on but it aint pretty(xr2turbo)do these cars have to be in the hot marques class?? cheers m8
  14. i have just painted my inlet manifold red on my xrturbo for sunday baldy and i think it is going to outperform i.e. blow your mr2 of the track mate,so in theory, yes the red inlet manifold is better lmao!!!
  15. once you learn to drive it and keep it on the road mate we mite have a deal lmao. the wee fiesta is gona be eatin it all day long on sunday again!!!!you ready for it???
