  1. nice Graham, how about a pic showing the whole car?
  2. Just an option, but you don't HAVE to buy the silvatec ones. I used clear bulbs, painted them vermillion orange (Austin Metro colour) then once that was dry i painted them matt silver. Turned out ok! They are still on the car, in the rear lenses though (as i'd already ordered the bulbs from revolution before I got the de-tango done). When i say 'I' - it was actually Jamie (H1 5OOB) that done mine. Took about 2.5hrs, if i recall. I might still have 3/4 of a can of each colour lying out in the hut if you wanted to go for the cheaper option
  3. JAC! Thats his name! Just came to me there.
  4. Yup.... i think that is his intention. I got my Scott Lowe splitter delivered yesterday, and dropped it off to the painters today. Spotted the two prodrive splitters when i was in Each to their own - everyone's opinion is valid! Personally, i prefer the look of the STI-corner bits + the Scott Lowe splitter but then if we were all the same life would be awfy boring! My corner-bits are also in getting re-done. Hopefully remain chip-free for a wee while at least. Nice car by the way Brian, pics don't do it justice. Ever considered a de-tango, just to finish-off that front end?
  5. Mind that bloke from up north (i forget his name - he's an RO) got his wheels done in Pink - and i'm sure they were gold STI wheels before. Might be worthwhile dropping him a PM to ask, if you know his name!!!
  6. red ones are always the smartest Says that type 20 is sold chris, but that is VERY nice.
  7. See this I have a similar set, all tyres WAY more that legal, not totally 100% sure i want to sell but if someone (Pete, JC) wants to make me an offer i might consider it? The ebay auction above shows that that set went for £360+£36.50 delivery - i paid total of £410 for mine, and all tyres have plenty of tread. I'm fairly sure they are RE070 Bridgestone's. I can double-check, and/or email pics to intrested parties on Sunday. Might get a chance to do it tomorrow, might not. Only one thing - it's been a while since i've looked at these wheels but i know for definite that one wheel has a wee chunk of paint out of one spoke, approx 6mm x 6mm square. Will probably start a new thread if there are no takers in the next couple of days
  8. Also noticed the use of "breaks all round" instead of brakes. Nice car, just wish i could find whoever wrote/performed that song so I could rip their eyes out with rusty nails, and pour salt into their bleeding eye sockets. Then use a hammer on each of their toes, then their knee-caps......hey, you can see where i am going with this. F**king novelty tunes get right on my t*ts
  9. I thot u meant me there U not get a loan of a set for a fortnight Del? Or u got money to burn
  10. Looks like the proper name is Avus AC M01 Clicky
  11. Nice, but i'm not entirely sure there is gold on those wheels - the surface looks like it's just the reflection of something in it's surroundings. Nice wheels though.
  12. Ian - try Gary @ Keith Michaels - he posts on here and SNet as Moley_wrx. Very understanding when it comes to mods. http://bbs.sidc.co.uk/messageview.cfm?cati...&threadid=50403
  13. welcome to the forum nicostar
  14. That is one cracking-looking motor malky
  15. Might be better finding someone closer to you then meko. Why not take it to S&S for a quote? Not that far down the 77
  16. I think you mean www.supersyling.co.uk Del The .com version is all about hair care!!! Here's the link right to the product - exactly the same as mine here And they are selling approx £32 cheaper than I paid
  17. whatever the masses think - bowling, brewers droop. Do i look boverred? I ain't boverred.
  18. Guy i use is Stevie Walker, but he's in Bathgate, West Lothian. Worth it if you wanted to make thr trek through. Only half an hour in the car! Your still driveable?
  19. Plus - i also have the corner-bits on my WRX. They came from S&S too, and you can only get them in STI colours (hence I had to get mine painted as you dont get a red STI). I think it worked out at about £90 each, then about another £50 (total) to get them painted - so say roughly £225-£230??). They do appear on eBay occasionally, or you could try a subaru breakers as all newage STI's have them on already. Lastly, before I head home for the night - if your thinking or ordering a high-level spoiler from Revolution, remember that the factory that makes them only does a run of them once they have a few orders in (they are made by Lester in Italy). So you might need to wait 6-8 weeks for it to come in once you've ordered it.
  20. Ginge - got the high-level spoiler from Revolution in Gateshead - think it was about £120, then another £80 (i think!) to get a local bodyshop to colour-code it and bond it onto the roof.
