    Can't wait. Engine sounded very nice for the first time in ages today. Had the full noise of the nur spec today as i managed to set off 3 car alarms. Drove nicely too, feeling slightly more confident about lasting until the 5th. I was very doubtful on monday about it lasting.

    Last night on my way home, i noticed a new camera popped up on the loose road facing the traffic going towards town. by the school & bridge. Don't know if it's working yet, but sneaky little ****

    Exellent, just the news i wanted to hear. 2.5 here we come. My plan is to buy a wrecked sti engine from a breakers (bottom end wrecked) and buy a 2.5sti block brand new. Gives me chance to get the heads ported and polished. Thanks for the info

    JGM, you've seen many scooby's right? Is it possible to use the 2.0ltr ancillarys on a 2.5sti block?

    my only problem is, it my everyday car. Use it to commute and everything. Going to be hard getting back to walking everywhere. The plus side is i can save much quicker.

    It gets worse........ Coming home from work tonight, the engine started knocking like those heard the other night. But this time, the car had been running for 25-30 mins, mostly m-way driving at 70mph, so the car was nice, and hot . Please engine, just last until the BHP show.

    The B11s is YEARRRRS old, i've got an official press release booklet on it, with photo's, spec's etc etc... I wonder, is B11s was the frist prototype for the p2.

    Sorry mate, never saw you. Had to pick up like 4 people from all over the place, was working in Ashford tonight & i was designated driver (well, i'm the only one who drives lol). Sorry, once again, i'll give you a extra long wave next time lol.

    So am i, been looking forward to this one for awhile. Just need to pray my engine holds on for that long. Then try to get a new engine fitted before Colin Mcrae rally. Going to be a tight one i think.

    Does anyone here know there engines well? Looking at dazzler to be able to answer this what exactly would I need to upgrade in order to convert to 2.5? Was thinking about buying a complete sti engine from a breakers with a wrecked block and buying a 2.5 block and bolting the anciliarys from the sti.

    Thanks for the link, some nice upgrades they do. Very well priced too. has anyone seen there quality of work? Recommend them? if so, they look right up my street.

    Car diden't fail to make it's noises at tonights meet. From the reactions of the members who heard it, i'm saying it's not good for my poor car. New Sti engine it is then.

    Thanks alot, was a really good meet i thought. Was nice to talk to some of you more in person, all in, had a really good night. Cheers Dazzler, for advising me about my engine woes, was feeling quite down, and very gutted until then. Thank you.
