I was awake until 4am, but was working on my site. Had proper work at 10am, but then due to my work shift patterns, i can never sleep correctly.

Got a couple Kentscoobies stickers deani_age last week & I finally got round to fitting them yestarday. What do you think? I like them, quite subtle.

Just got my tax reminder, £185 : though i totally agree, Gordon Brown is a total tw@t. I'll definatly be voting in the next election, never bothered before, but I want him & labour out of power.

Thats what I hate the most about scooby ownership.. I get so p***ed off with tw@ts who want to race down every road. On several occasions i've pulled over to let some nob who's sitting 2mm from my bumber go past. I'll have to use the Jodie Kidd comment next time lol.

Had a total **** tonight, a random stranger. Whilst I was minding my own business and visiting the bank, start telling me that Subaru's are crap, & very slow. He also continued to tell me that they also sound like old VW beetles. I did the normal thing, ignored him and just continued on my way, leaving him to discuss why Subaru's are terrible. Now let me just say that I feel the comment "Subaru's sound like Beetle's", is to me, a compliment. We all know what kind of icon a VW bug is, & lets face it, there engines are the same setup, so duh. I persoally really like the old style VW beetles & campers, I think there cool, & look very fun. As for saying about Subaru's being fast! since when did I tell him that I think they are? The guy's just a total knob.

How much are you roughly looking? not really sure what there worth, but i'm quite interested (my front nearside caliper is sticking).

My car is similar, it will always oversteer on corners. Subaru's are legendary for there understeer, though i've never experianced it with mine.

Could be the heat sheild next to the fuel tank. My HKS system used to knock from the middle and it was because of this sheild... ifso, get under there with your finest hammer and knock the sheild away from the pipe (obviously be careful of the tank lol).

I think i've seen you a couple of times in larkfield tesco's. I do like the carbon bonnet, i've always wanted to get the bonnet, boot, & spoiler, But can never afford them.

Both the brake & clutch fluid, is a very dark gold color.

Mine was fine last year. Maybe i just need to replace the fluids (deano did recommend they needed changing back in march).

Now that the days are getting slightly hotter, my underbonnet temps have risen (obviously). I have no heat sheilds on my downpipe, and the added heat is boiling my brake & clutch fluid. Braking can be scary when this happens. I'm going to book my car in for some work very soon which will include changing the 2 fluids, but do you think i should attempt to refit my old heat shield (the chimney), or get the downpipe off and wrap it. Thank you.

My blitz blew gasket sealent straight out after 10 mins, you'll be best off going to subaru and forking out the money for the oem gasket (downpipe-centre). The center-rear gasket might be okay with sealent though. They do sound sooo nice though, my record is 3 car alarms in one street (@2500rpm). I need to get my up-pipe fixed before the full sound is unleashed on the blitz i think.
