PICS Thanks. -
Had something abit special for the McRae tribute put on my car today. I'm very pleased with the results, and drivethru graphix did an awsome job. I'm just off to take some pics now.

Watching it too, just unbelievable what people get upto.

Well what can I say. Phoned MBC about 2pm thursday, they were out examining my car, taking pics, & a statement by 11am friday morning. The guy seemed really to act like it was a huge deal (was thinking they'd sweep it under the carpet for several months). He went off to interview the grasscutters who worked in that area on Wednesday, & promised to visit my house again on Monday. He also seemed quite shocked at the amount of grass stuck to the car. I just hope he's verdict goes in my favour.

Phoned the Maidstone coucil today. They've given me a reference number and are going to get back in touch with me. Anything you advise me doing whilst waiting for the guys to investigate. **waits for a stupid reply from yogi**

Today, i went out to my car to find the grass cutters have smashed my drivers side fog light cover. Dunno what they hit it with, but it's dropped my bumper by about 1/2 inch too. They've also chipped alot of paint alongside my driverside sideskirt (stone chips). The total a***hole who did this just left my cover next to the wheel. Also my car is totally covered in grass AGAIN, seems like they had alot of fun at my expense today I know they have a job to do, but is it too hard to take alittle care in others property. I've taken lots of images of my cover, chipped paint, covered in grass..... Do you think I have a case to complain?

About To Clay The Scoob Now With Pics
luke_clifton replied to pistonbroke2's topic in South East England
Claying mine never took too long, but then there really wasen't a huge amount of tar on there. The smoothness of the paint was incredible after all the hard work though. I normally set aside a whole say when claying my car, as i like to give it a 3 stage afterwards. Along with the normal polish of the exhaust -
I saw this dodgy looking bloke in a legacy and thought i'd better get away from him. Nah I decided that I really coulden't be bothered to drive about, so went home lol.

Ah sorry mate, was that where I suddenly changed lanes to head up the london road instead of going round to rocky hill? I did used to wave to Legacy owners, but got fed up with there snobbish looks back at me lol.

Is it too late to add my name to this list? I'm going to risk running my car up there, as it's been fine recently. -
Worked all weekend but have 3 days off now

Is there anywhere local that sells neat alcohol? I've got a few parts that i want to clean in the stuff ready for painting and assembling. Or is brake cleaner good enough?
-
Ah yes, I was on the london road tonight, heading to Tesco. I've been spotted I thought my car was quite dirty.

Almost had a similar incident the other day on Tonbridge road. Going through the roadworks (the one near the tesco garage, and there really doing my head in btw.) An Ambulance with blues flashing needed to come through, we were almost near the end of the single lane, when some absolute nutcase decides to anchor on the brakes the moment he got through the roadworks. Obviously there is a line of traffic, and i was about 4 cars back from him, I had to make my brakes work overtime to stop. I was so close to running straight into the back of a skip lorry (not the best thing to hit). The stupid **** almost caused a mass accident, a few choice words was being said to him at that point. The funny thing was, he actully managed to slow the Ambulance, because we were all stuck inside the single lane. The most annoying thing was, he never even needed to stop in the first place. Some people just make it more dangerous for the emergency services. I hope your cars damage is very minor, and looking very nice again soon. Oh BTW, i saw you driving up Tonbridge road about 7:20pm on friday. I was walking up the road to take those pics seen in my other thread lol. Car sounded seriously loud.
