Aeriel on mine was swapped out for a Perrin one, which looks tidier.
And the hatch has a rear wiper
And it's a FINE looking car
-
WHERES THE SPOLIER !!!!!!
I'd imagine sitting on the options list at £880 + VAT + Paint + fitting!

Hi all,
First I have seen in the flesh - looks good and quite chunky overall.
It is sitting resplendant and clean at Ian Grieve Subaru, Falkirk - might be worth a wander over for a look
(Hope they don't mind me posting the pics)
Quite a few white STI's which is nice to see (including a couple of 330S).

Yous all need ti grow up. And stop branding the nice folk on scottishscoobies.net as numptys on the road. this site is also full of numptys. And well regardless of what site there on it really dont matter. Like all yous here that stereo type a site coz its members are younger and more fun. The general public will do the same and stereo type scoob drivers as knobs. Regardless of sites.
So look in before you look out and accuse others of the same **** all yous did in your younger years.
I drive an impreza so i dont speed. hahaha
who can acctually say it and mean it????
not many of yous.
anal retentive on here.
Any Impreza owner needs to careful to protect the reputation of the car if they want to enjoy it. Not all owners speed and not all owners drive an Impreza as if on track when on the road.
I don't think anyone here is saying the issue here is because they may be a ScottishScoobies.net member - the general public does not care, nor does the person injured or killed by an idiotic driver.
There is also no need to class all members on here as "full of numptys" or "anal retentive". It's a bit unfair!

Hope it doesnt cause you too much hassle.
Davie
And Shell Whitburn shut for nearly 2 months so far and Edinburgh Road Glasgow is closed too. Good ole Tesco 99 it is then

What does the STI hatch's PPP consist of?
On the last rev saloon it was purely an engine-related upgrade - exhaust bits, fuel pump, intercooler hose & ECU, for which they charged about £2000 when bought separately...
The ECU is removed from the car and mapped by Prodrive at Prodrive now to take account of the info stored on it about the car already.
Refitted with a new exhaust (different CAT and resonator removed).
That's it

Welcome along Tony
You know my thoughts already

http://www.just-subaru.com
... seem to offer a decent range of products for the Hawkeye, esp. suspension-related.
Anyone here used them? Any comments on their service - positive or negative?
Revloution are very good, run Subaru staff & Demo cars and service is excellent.
Postage can be pricey but fixed for lots of stuff.

The other thing is it still has the standard stereo, probably still has no electrically heated door mirrors like the standard STI and there is no mention of much work to the gearbox (e.g. a quickshift etc).
And how annoyed would you be when you drove your £50k car away from the showroom and the interior was rattling lol
Brian
-
My car with PPP, Prodrive Springs, STI 18's, quickshift etc cost a LOT less than that - I don't doubt it's a superb car BUT there is just no way to justify the £22,500 price hike over standard, even if exclusive.
Mine is plenty quick and looks visually very similar without the colour, and a few exterior/interior shiny bits!
A Euro import with Recaro's etc and then £5k work is a brilliant buy.

Hybrid Impreza, if done well would be good.
Lexus GS460 Hybrid is incredibly good on the power for a big car. Seamless and smooth.

glad its getting sorted out i have never heard anything good about EH or that Arnold Clark bunch once they have your cash that's it
Good to hear it's getting sorted. Nobles will do a good job.
Interesting badge on the boot in the last picture...

Welcome along
Brian.

Looking good and nice to see some hatches in there

I've found Pagids to be good in the past or Ferrodo DS2500's.

Fabulous
-
I use mine daily for everything - it will rack up at least 15k a year...so that's quite a lot in fuel - on the plus side the reliability offsets the fuel costs.
Not massively worse than many other cars really if driven normally...

New White Sti Saloon @ Ian Grieve Subaru Falkirk - Pics
in Scottish Scoobies
Posted · Edited by WRXMANIA
Things I've noticed are:
It has black plastic trim on a lot of the inside where it is gunmetal in mine...
The WRX Badge is on the back again (hatches don't)
It does not say IMPREZA anywhere...
It has the 330S door opening system
It has the common US option BBS wheels
It says Type UK on it...
