Just poor luck I reckon - my wife's Yaris was bombproof in 3 years of owning it. Her Rav has also had not a thing fixed in it - much like all my Toyota's in the past.

I have ALWAYS found Japanese cars to be reliable - a LOT of questions are asked of an Impreza on the road - it is no surprise that sometimes they bite back. Mine was bombproof for 3 years - can't ask for any more. Nothing to beat a well built Jap car for reliability as any mechanic will no doubt tell you. Brian []

Scott Lowe flaps are great - well made and don't flap in the wind like cheaper versions. However you could buy several sets of cheaper ones and replace them every year or two, depending on mileage. Brian []

All of those recommendations above are extremely good - they will all do you a very good job. Used Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn - John and George will do you a good job, know what they are doing and have the latest geometry gear. They are whiteline stockists too if you need any stuff. Brian []
