Stephen - a man after my own heart - I have always driven and sworn by Toyota quality - no one does it better. Not always the best cars to drive a while ago, but always easy to live with. Cheers JC, It will be a different driving experience - I am sure Lexus know what they are doing on this new car - it seems to be well reviewed. It is no rally car, but then again, neither is a fairly standard Impreza I suppose. There is of course always that - not that fuel economy was something that would really ever make me sell the Impreza - was something that was part of the ownership experience. Not cheap to run, but you certainly got your moneys' worth from every tank!
