  16. They are not locking but they seem to lock on really tight - they must have had a good go at tmhem to get them - I had just checked my tyre pressure before leaving the house and they were tight. B []
  17. Steam came from my ears this morning! This morning as I looked at the wheels on my car, I notice that someone has half-inched my Lexus chrome valve caps, which match the 18's - NOT IMPRESSED. Be some stupid kid, who will steal them for their bike or to throw about. Pointless. Also a nice scrape about 8 inches long in the rear quarter above one of the wheels where they have probably had "a go" at it in passing. Idiots. When I spoke to my wife at lunchtime (she's a veterinary nurse) she said one of her clients and their three young kids were distraught because someone has stolen their 18 week old Labrador puppy from their garden - a man was seen walking down the road carrying it by a neighbour who phoned to check - by which time it was too late. Feel really sorry for those kids who just don't understand. What possesses some people - does society not care anymore? Sorry RANT OVER! Brian []
  18. Also there is a nice slightly louder sound and there is a really harsh, brittle noise you get from many N/A cars.
  19. Thanks Rab. As with all forums and postings, it is a matter of interpretation, whether peoples views, interpreting guidleines etc. In the moderators defence I must say that MANY MANY things are let go in the interests of fairness, fun and a sense of balance. It is only when things are stopped when they go too far or are seen to upset other users that people complain. People need to give us a chance. We are forum users like everyone else. Lets' all just get one - this i not real life. Only when we meet each other at events or whatever does it become real life - the keyboard warrior is usually the person who is quite different in real life [] Brian []
