  1. Phil - I touch goats SIDC applies to the boss Jools
  2. Thanks for the help above lads, but afraid the lights are provisionally sold.
  3. Martin, Just like Wuz says regarding front end. Along with Prodrive springs, this mod is one of the cheapest and significant changes you will make to the car. Transforms the machine, feels much better and stays planted through the corner. There was some footage of my car at Alford compared to other Sti?s and you can visually see the difference in the stance and exit speed of the car as it comes through the corners. Rob D and I are running winter tyres on our cars through the winter and boy what a difference they make. Night and day. Highlight of last year for me was towing an L200 pickup up the hill as you leave Inveruire heading towards Keithhall. When I stopped and offered the lady a tow, she said but I have 4WD, I said but I have AWD and Winter tyres fitted (wink). I pulled her up the hill in second gear quite briskly; lets say?.and she then said the pick up had never gone up the hill that quick on dry roads! Regarding wheels, what?s wrong with Sti pink, rather than black????
  4. Martin, Go to PPS at Inveruire. Young Keith Paterson is the fellow to talk to. They did the work on my engine bay, roll bar, the Sti pink wheels, etc. Great work?.at the right price! 01467 621907. Think Keith might not be back until Wed this week.
  5. Sti7 PPP kit. Gems daughter board, Sports cat DP, and complete Prodrive exhaust system. The exhaust from the DP back has only done +/- 200 miles from new. Kit will not include the up rated fuel pump or the restrictor valve. Also for separate sale, straight through exhaust system from DP back to a rear genuine polished Sti titanium back box. (Imported from Japan) This is one of the finest sounding exhaust systems for any new age Sti and I hate having to remove it more that words can explain. However, I need to upgrade to a 3? exhaust system front to back. Standard Sti headers c/w up pipe. All parts ready at the end of Jan. Also time for a clear out; New age tow bar assy, c/w the removable swan neck tow bar. With swan neck removed the tow bar frame is not noticeable on the car at all. Used for towing Westfield on A-frame (less than 500 KG). Standard fit double din stereo unit if anyone needs it to perhaps upgrade. (Had to move the Secs system down to fit gauges on a dash pod) New age genuine Subaru dash mount pod, which the Secs 1004 came supplied in from Power-Station. Open "letter box" at front, but I could supply with a carbon fibre rectangle sheet for the front ready for cutting to fit gauges or other if required. Sti7 front head lights. Sti7 standard anti roll bar and drop links. Sti7 standard brake hose's. Sti7 standard springs. Think that's it for now.

  18. I would take some for sure. How much you got?
  19. I?m afraid that my car won?t be available for this show
  20. Cal, I would hold out an Sti. If not I 'd go for a well sorted Classic with all the right bits, rather than the bog standard WRX, it will need lots of money spent on it to get it to where you will want it to be.....and still not be an Sti. Other thing to look at real hard is spreading the cost over longer to get what you want now. What I mean here is if you are financing a car over 2 or 3 years, then simply selling it and starting again, with more finance, there can be wisdom in taking more money up front now and taking it over 4/5 years, and keeping the car much longer and saving money in the long term by not needing to change in a few years, although it will cost you more on interest, loose money on changing the car in two or three years or loose money on extra interest over the slightly longer periods is what I am saying. One of the best new age cars that is available now with the right bits already on it is Brian Sangsters Sti7. Has 18?, exhaust system, tints, small front grills, mud flaps, etc and is absolutely mint condi-tion. New prodrive springs still in the box. Hope this helps a little.
  21. Cost was 70 quid for the full works, jet wash, clean & polish outside, engine bay, and interior (which includes Scotchgaurd treatment). This price includes a bottle of polish, which he will send to a focal point for the group of cars he has done. RobD will be our focal point in Aberdeen. Additional cleaning stuff with cloths, etc are over and above the 70 quid, but represent tremendous value compared to high street prices. Basically we came away with several ltrs shampoo, several ltrs water based cleaner for wheels, engine bay, etc, a ltr of black to black type cleaner, a couple of polishing cloths, and all for £90. We were all well happy
  22. Spooks, Interested in what you are doing, as I have the PPP ?Gems? daughter board at home, which I took off my car. If you bought it would you mind telling me the price, (PM) so I can plan on selling my one. Do you have the ?restrictor? to stop boost spikes that I understand was part of the early PPP kit. (Think it was a 1.2 mm)
