OK then - then need a bit more than a "wee thockty" but less than a "smidge" of "Beam modification" to fit. Sound about right? PMSL. Russell
-
Just got the AST's so the list is now left with: 76 Cool Blue OR LOADS of Methanol! Depends on the mood I'm in once the new engine and box are run in! Russell
-
Top Secret Col - that why! I can't reveal too much (without monetary compensation[]) JC - that's nothing M8, my wife went and bought me some AST's...............although I really must remember to inform her that she has[] Russell

No M8 (PMSL), I spent a "short time" explaining the best for his car, factoring in age and condition of engine./box and felt that 350 through ported headers would be the most cost effective ie, won't need to source another box (for now[A]) I'll happily fit GT Spec headers and wrap them for him (if Ac!d wants that) but my first priority is to ensure that people get the right info and know what then can get out of their car with what they have. The way I see if....why pay 2K to get 350bhp when you can do it just as professionally for 1.5K. It's not my money but I run the company based on information to all my customers to make the most informed and cost effective choice they can. After all....we rig-pigs just don't get paid like we used to (HA! HA! - who the hell am I kidding[]) Russell ps - Ac!d - LOVE YA BABE! PM me for the GT Spec prices (can't put them on here......................too cheap!)
-
Do I have to spend another 1/2 an hour explaining all this to you Ac!d..........AGAIN! In terms of fitment, you can fit these onto Newage OR classic Cars between MY97-00 will need a M18 X 1.5 Blanking plug for the Lambda Boss near the U/P connection and Classic Scoobs will need an M10 X 1.25 Blanking Plug for the EGT Boss, but other wise a universal fit. You will find, however, that the Bugeye UK cars (due to the support beam/stiffener) will need a little "fettling" to fit the headers...........I'm sure Craig Mac can elaborate, eh Craig[] I can still get you a set of GT spec II headers if you need them but your putting stuff onto your car that will now guarantee you need a new CLutch and (a new gearbox) in the near future. Let me know what you finally decide on and I'll get it organised.[] Russell

OUCH! Russell

LESS THAN 4 WEEKS TO GO M8! Am I fitting all 3 items your getting from me? If so I'll need to factor in the fitting costs of the 1st and 2nd items. Russell
-
GOOD MAN! That is actually a good idea! I'll try and get a hold of all the people who I have worked for and get them to send me photocopy of their R/R printout and I can hang them on the wall as momento's Russell

"Another trophy for Andy and Wuz" I'll take it as Andy has too may as it is right now[:|] Russell

Thanks guys. Lets not forget to thank AndyF for all his efforts as well. Remember that I'm the TECHNician and AndyF if the MAGician I discuss the objective, organise the options, prep the cars.............................................................................................and Andy does all the magic that brings the whole package together. [H] Also don't forget yourselves as the quality of the driver goes a long, long way.............................still not sure how that explains how Craig did so well[] Nice one! Russell

Grant - you need to change you sig M8 - it should read " one day I know it'll become a BHP / AFP hybrid" ITS GONNA HAPPEN, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!!!!! Russell
-
JC - I do remember telling you that you'd have an 11 second car..didn't I[] Great times M8, well impressed. I better get on with getting my car reazdy for next year! Russell ps - Hope the "advertising" went well!

The same on as 2 of the fastest 3 cars at Crail today use[] Had to say it! Russell

TBH, if you want a proper job done it is actually less of a ball-ache to lower it off but it can be done in less time than 6 hours and for a HELL OF A LOT LESS THAN 55 pounds an hour.[] Russell

Nothing wrong with a big butt! Defi-Link (white 60mm - match MY99-00 dash clocks perfectly) Boost, Oil Pressure, Oil Temp Control Unit II Defi Pod - WAVY type. Copy only as Defi don't make one for the Classic Dash Oil Temp Sensor Adaptor ( for above #3 cylinder) Fitting and setting up (includes putting the Control Unit WHEREVER you want it in the car) . . . . 565 If you want BF's it will be 615 fully fitted and set up. Basically - I cahrge about 30 pounds more than Kenny charges for the gauges. But you all know where I am if something goes wrong. Plus my gaiuges DON'T come from Malaysia................................OR EBAY. Any use to you? Russell ( watching my butt as I am out in India right now!)

You all know who you are....I can only thank you! everyone who expressed their heartfelt views on the subject are people I would be (and am) proud to call friends. Because of you guys and only because of you guys, I am staying here to help but I might have to keep my opinions about certain people to myself for fear of recriminations. Craig Mac...................you sir, are a true M8. Your "rallying of the troops" is one of the main reasons behing this post. First class effort on your part to show me that I don't need approval from "professional outfits" for doing what I do. I'll let my work speak for itself. AndyF's fine words showed me that I must be doing something right for a man who is held in such high regard in the community ( and rightly so!) to positively comment on the subject of my work. I'm staying, not only to help all who ask, but to firmly and proudly raise "the middle finger" to individuals and groups alike who feel they can screw the Aberdeen guys with possibly incorrect info/parts and then making them pay double the money for 1/2 the workmanship. I PREFER TO DO IT THE OTHER WAY ROUND...AND THAT IS HOW IT WILL STAY!!!!!!!!!! Thanks again guys, all of you. Russell
-
Grant - as with other recent posts of mine..............I must apologise for butting in with helpful advice. I'll edit the post if you like or you can tell me to butt out... OH, I'M SORRY! I forgot your not an "Aberdeen tuner" so you'll not do that[:$] Sorry, couldn't resist! RUssell

It it only from 5th to 4th? Russell

I think that the offset on the GT1's in 17" MIGHT be a little tight. BUT If you go to crail tomorrow and ask one of the STI8 mob that are bound to be there...................maybe you can try and fit one of your wheels onto the front of their car (5 minute job, I am sure someone will allow you to do it!), you'll soon find out if they will fit! Russell

Head wetting - BL00DY RIGHT M8! Soon as I get home I'll organise something. Alll on SIDC are welcome...........................................[:|] Russell

Anything can change in 1/2 an hour![:S] Russell
