Agreed.....but!
if diagnosis is carried out and it takes any garage 3hours for example and no fault is found then the manufacturer doesnt foot the bill,the dealership is left carrying the can,if the fault is diagnosed then the charge is wavered.
in this instance if the fault occured after the ppp was fitted,then diagnosis wouldnt have been carried out for said fault,it happened at a later stage,which wasnt the result of fitment of the performance pack at the dealership.
You would be amazed at the number of people trying to claim on warranty,when the car has either been modified or worked on by another,hence this inspection charge.
