I sold my Green Scooby to someone on the Isle of Man almost a year ago in May 2004 and wrote to the DVLA filling in the form that the car has been exported to the Isle of Man and as such I did not own it anymore and it was not on UK shores. Heard nothing til September when they fined me for the tax being overdue. Rang them up, explained the situation and sorted things so I thought. November came and by now I had moved house and hadn't bothered to inform the DVLA as I didn't own the car anymore, so what's the point? Mid November a snotty letter came saying if I didn't pay the fine I would be taking to court as their records showed that I still owned the car. Again I went through all this on the phone explaining I didn't own the friggin car anymore, hadn't for well over 6 months and I am not paying a fine as I have filled in all the paperwork correctly and logged this with them via. phone (Which they could see on their helpdesk) in September. Nothing more until yesterday when a letter arrived from Northampton County Court saying I had a CCJ for non-payment to the DVLA?!! So now I got to fight them all the way and clear a CCJ off my record for something that I have sorted 3 times over. Does anyone know how I contest this? Any advice at all please? Really don't have time for this at the moment either

Alot of people are asking what are the various exhausts like from various tuners. So! Lets get some reviews together on this page and then can direct people to it in the future? Here are the ones I know well, though other people have the TSL systems, Afterburners etc. etc. Scoobysport A very sporty sounding exhaust, doesn't rasp and has a nice low burble at idle. Yet put your foot down and it releases the scooby burble beautifully! On motorway cruise just goes silent. Available in 4.5 inch Jap Style or 3" Subtle style H&S Jap Style 4.5 inch angled backbox with an extremely straight exit for improved air flow. Alot louder than the Scoobysport and sounds fantastic. At idle alot more noticeable but on motorway cruise you know it is there. Doesn't drone at all though. Extremely well made system and our most popular box. As fitted to our UK300. CustomScoobies TFL Single The TFL is simular in design to the H&S and is made by them for us, except it also has a 3" system from centre pipe to backbox for higher power. Titanium exit which changes colour once warm. CustomScoobies TFL Twin 3" backboxes either side with the left hand box being extremely straight. The 2nd box splits around the rear diff and all hardware to mount on the other side. Can be loud or quiet. Currently fitted to my STI8 and sounds fantastic!!!! Soon to be on Ashley's Project, albeit quieter

You can get Megan Racing ALOT cheaper than that. I prefer GT Spec though.

This might NOT be a syncro problem though it still could be... On the 99 onwards classic boxes sometimes one of the nuts becomes loose and becomes a PITA. Remove and refit the uprated item from Subaru and it cures it. Worst case if it is the syncro it is a £300 job for removal, fix, new nut on anyway and all back in. So not a fortune really.

Harvey's kit is spot on. The Hybrid intercooler is running very well on cars around 400bhp+ so best bang for your buck. I use Perrin on the newage which are simular to the APS. Water spray kit as Harvey and BreakerYardJulian says is very cheap to make. I used a No2 intercooler spray to great effect on my top mount before. Not Co2 though.

Just bought a mini iPod off Scoobynet in blue brand new for £120. Marvellous! Me and Cally have got 'his and hers' now! Blue and pink! No mines not the pink one..... So any good software I should have for this? Any must have extras etc? Cue Phil....

Whats actually wrong with your boxes guys? Crunching gears? Crap syncros or not? £900 you can get a used box for alot less than that. Unless you have the DCCD. THen it becomes expensive
