  1. Ah. I can hear it now that I've come home. Quality.
  2. Ah, here we go - http://forums.thecarlounge.net/zerothread?id=2488465 A "norma m20" allegedly.
  3. You sure? Cos it looks like it's LHD, and the radical is a 2 seater and has an even drivers cockpit across the whole thing, whereas this looks like it doesn't.
  4. Did you look on the underside of the boot covering bit of chipboard for the jack handle? That's where mine was! Ever tried jacking up a car using a screwdriver as the handle? not fun.
  5. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=61...832823&q=r8 We've all seen it before, but does anyone remember what the car actually was! It's not an R8 as listed there, and I don't think it's a radical either from what I remember.
  6. I don't like the gold ones, and the anthracite ones wont fit my car. Watch this space though. []
  7. The Turbo. When you start force feeding air into an engine they have to gulp down an amount of petrol suitable for that amount of air. If you drove everywhere off boost you'd get good economy. BUT WHERE'S THE FUN IN THAT! They're putting out well over 100bhp per litre. There's hardly any cars on the road that can claim to get anywhere near that sort of power.
  8. Remap is known to improve fuel efficiency Dave. I'm a little bit lead footed. I used to be able to get low 20s out of a 1.8 Ecotec vectra if I stayed off the motorways. Not the weekend there but the one before I managed 400 miles on £80 worth of petrol. ALL MOTORWAY! If I'd stop driving at COUGH then I'd be fine.
  9. I've kept a spreadsheet of my petrol usage since July last year and I'm sitting at about 23mpg in a MY05 WRX. That includes some trackdays, some economy motorway runs, some foot to the floor canonball run motorway runs too and plenty of average driving. So the answer of "not a lot" was correct.
  10. I pass a car every other day or so, an old astra, that has proper script style writing for the plates. I can't actually work out what the registration is! Why aren't these jokers getting done?
  11. That's Hayward and Scott, not HKS. HKS are a japanese engineering company who make some mighty fine products indeed.
  12. From America aye? I bought my SSQV off them and service was excellent.
  13. Killing time on ebay. AT YOUR EXPENSE HAHAHA. Sorry HKS Uppipe for £135 inc. postage from a seller I used before. That a good price, and is it a good product? You know me, I'm a sucker for name brand bits.
  14. Damn straight it will Peter. The wheels are in motion.
  15. Once the decat and remap is done a set of rims will be next.
  16. Yes. Liking that. Very nice indeed. Welcome to the club too.
  17. If I bet the entire card at cheltenham tomorrow I might! £1200 without rubber? That's a fair whack.
  18. Yes! There's one in the new AA adver too I think. A classic though.
  19. I just don't know if my ass could handle 19" rims + my Tein springs. They are very nice though.
  20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-ADVAN-RACING-RS-...oQQcmdZViewItem The gunmetal ones are only available for the new STI PCDs, but oh my are they just lovely or what.
  21. I'm thinking I could take out the rear seats and mount this thing
  22. JC, that's class mate. No doubt the police will be round momentarily to remove it, but still, I applaud you. I don't think I have any pictures of you on which to do some doctoring.
  23. Gay?
  24. Sounds like a challenge Andy!
  25. Lol. I deserved that. I'll look vacantly off into the distance and point.
