  1. 2 Thumbs up from me. I see a blue one from time to time on my daily commute and its got presence.
  2. The latest C that my dad has drives nicely. The earlier ones of this current generation drive like total dogs. I think the reason is because it has the sport pack. Get one with the 6.3 AMG block in it. That's not going to be slow you'd imagine.
  3. Bad batch of gogojuice perhaps? If you're at the meet tonight get some of the mad scientists to have a look.
  4. It was Rays I suggested. They do coloured sets that come with 1 locker per wheel. What about the Scott Lowe ones, do they come with lockers?
  5. Thanks for the offer Peter, but he's bringing it round so I'm sorted. My "hack" of wiring my 3 port ciggy splitter into the back of the proper socket seems a wee bit tempremental if I jiggle the wires so I'm going to wire that up properly. I fancy doing something else, but can't really think of anything to do. I'm in a fixit mood.
  6. Peter. I don't have cup holders there. The 05 cars have the redesigned interior. I think I know what you mean though. Will have a go at the weekend if my mate brings my soldering iron back as I need it for the other tidy up work I'm planning.
  7. Welcome mate. Nice car.
  8. Welcome, get some pictures up and fill in some more details like where you're from and so forth.
  9. Rough mate. Personally I think beating someone to death with their own limbs is an ideal way to deal with things.

    Hi!

Welcome Kerry. That's a really good looking classic you have. Black is the best colour, but then I'd always say that.
  11. I'm going to wire up my road angel a bit cleaner by shoving the cable down behind the clock instead of running it round. Plus part of the installation of my existing ciggy socket splitter is looking a bit suspect so I thought I'd take the change to clean it up a bit with some proper workmanship. So how do I remove the clock to get that wire down the back of it?
  12. OH MAN! I GOTTA GET ME ONE OF THESE!
  13. A stroke of genius/moment of brute force! I went out, removed the dash (it's easy when you've done it enough times) and then just yanked the face plate. Bobs your uncle it didn't come off but it did turn itself on. I'm guessing connectoirs could be on their way out so I will fish around for some on ebay and clean the current ones with a bit of alciehol.
  14. We've got a few audiophiles here. My Pioneer DEH-P8600MP is having some issues. Put the face on this morning on my way to work but nothing turned on! Jiggled the face a bit and still nothing. Can't get the face off either. Is there some sort of emergency method to remove them? The manual is nae use at all.
  15. Imy, will you be at the Glasgow meet on Thursday?
  16. RainX is good stuff. There's another one that's supposed to be even better, but is only sold in industrial containers in America. Forget the name now though. Remember, the quicker you go the quicker the droplets fly off!
  17. Congrats Al, and Lyndsey too of course. Best wishes for the future.
  18. I used RainX yesterday. I've clearly brought it on. I apologise.

  20. Is this what you were looking for Chris - http://www.frappr.com/scottishscoobies ?
  21. Was out in Glasgow last night at the stand. Had to sit near the front and was therefore picked on by the compere, but that's a whole other story. Came out to head off home and I had a parking ticket! I was parked in a space that was pay and display up to 10pm but a warden had clocked me at half 8 and gave me a ticket. What kind of jobsworth ******* of a person gives you a ticket on a saturday night on a fairly empty street? The kind of jobsworth ******* that could only be a meter maid I guess. That's a speeding ticket and a parking ticket all within about 2 months. What's next?
  22. Don't rag the hell out of it for the first 1K whilst it's on the run-in oil. There's many schools of thought as to whether going over 4K should be done or not though.
  23. Washed the car this morning. Just a wash though, not the proper full going over with the cleaner fluid and claybar then the wax. Might do the interior after the BTCC. Been a busy weekend up until this morning really.
  24. Polyfilla is where it's at Grant. But the sponge look is nice too.
  25. Gavin, it was Colin Roger, used to work at the Scottish Parliament.
