  1. To be fair, this thread is almost a year old, and in my 18 months on this forum I can remember about 3 threads that have dealt with Scottish Football. The posts made on this thread (pre-resurrection) were made in the heat of the moment and indeed as you can see were ignored by the rest of the forum. Rightly so as well. The world cup threads were good fun and good huored, but if you want to discuss the SPL go elsewhere and do it. We get enough of that shite in the papers, on telly and everywhere else in Scottish culture. For the love of that is good and true about the Scottish Scoobies please let this die a death for the second time. Stephen
  2. I slow down for all Omegas. The policemans special.
  3. Del, was playing Pumpherston golf course this afternoon and got a wee look at this car. Looks clean, got a prodrive rear wing on it too. Not sure of mileage etc. but certainly first impressions were that it's a good looking car.
  4. He's great isn't he? Like a great big parody of himself.
  5. You a teacher by any chance Welsho? To be fair I was in early to finish a report I was writing, and then left at 11 to go golfing, so mustn't grumble.
  6. It's a beast. The driver doesn't hang about either. Can't wait to see what it does when they up the power!
  7. Tell her the new rims have big gaps because it makes them lighter (even if it's a lie), and as such you will have improved fuel efficiency. You're saving the environment and your bank account. Win win situation. Unless she thinks the savings should go to her shoe/handbag/whatever the hell it is women buy fund. Then you've run into an over justification issue.
  8. I used to be able to get up early, but not anymore. It killed me this morning getting out of bed so early.
  9. To be in work at 8 am. I don't like it one bit.
  10. I got 12K out of a set of Red Stuff pads, that included 2 trackdays. On standard discs though. I liked them so much I went for them again a few months back and not had a problem. Not used the discs, but I believe Gumball destroyed a set on a trackday and they were brand new.
  11. The scar you can forgive, but the sloping forehead makes him look like a maniac.
  12. Quality shows. Fancy a lexus next myself:
  13. Lifters are on and very nice. Couldn't work out how to tighten both ends up fully, but then I realised I just had to compress them a bit to get it to do it. D'OH. You can get some nice ones for the lexus surely? Maybe tein ones.
  14. Two great national anthems. Not like our pish. Now my chinese is just arriving so I will tuck in and enjoy a spectacle of football. Or more likely 120 minutes of boredom followed by a shootout.
  15. How many days to go Brian?
  16. By right they can refuse the warranty on the suspension related pieces should you get Teins. But as I said earlier, I got rear shocks replaced last week on a euro import despite it running Teins. Geometery setup is the caster, camber, alignment etc. etc. etc. of all the wheels. Just ask for the prodrive setup and you're laughing. Get alloy droplinks done as well if you're getting suspension work. They're cheap and you can get it all done at the same time. Well worth it.
  17. Apparently Duncan now has the alignment gear in house as well now. Not had anything done in a while so not been up.
  18. At least you're safe Fee, and the car didn't completely blow up. Will it live to fight another day?
  19. Welcome to the club. The cars are good for about 300-350 on the standard airbox with just a decent filter. The STI one is probably the best. Avoid an oiled one. A full turbo back decat and a decat uppipe, then a remap of the standard ECU. That should get you near 300bhp.
  20. You get it as part of Office 2003 davie. Which you can get from any good PC shop, and bad ones too. Cheapest in Glasgow is probably Infiniti. It's easy enough to get an AHEM version too if you catch my drift big man.
  21. http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/retro/well-th...-son-185942.php Check out the video.
  22. That sounds great Davie. Will need to look out for them.
  23. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/THE-DETAILING-AND-STYLING-STORE Guy has some on page 2 at a decent price. I just ordered the foam gun and some other goodies from him, will let yous know if the service is decent.
  24. GM sold their stake in FHI partially to the market and the other part went to Toyota. Toyota have since invested in FHI's lithium battery technology as it's very good and will be used in the next generation of Toyota AND Subaru hybrids. One of the Subaru factories in America is also being used to build some Toyotas as they had spare capacity. I had a vauxhall for 3 years. Hated it.
  25. At least Brian's keeping it in the family with a a Japanese car, and even better one from Lexus. Because as we know Lexus = Toyota, Toyota = stakeholder in Fuji Heavy Industries. A Vauxhall is simply inexcusable.
