Bandit, not sure how much the STI differs, but the WRX sits at about 6 bar oil pressure when cruising. Boost peaks up to 1.3 sometimes (well 1.27 on the R-Vit), but usually about 1.1-1.15 and always taper off and hold 1bar. I think that will be higher on the STI though. Oil temp - not sure as that ones not plumbed in yet.

I'm probably going to get myself a controller 2, and maybe add on an EGT gauge when I get the rest of my pipes changed.

Not a fan of the din gauges either. The standard 3 to get are Oil Pressure, Oil temp and Boost. That's what I have. The controller is nescessary as that's where the sensors get plugged in to. Contoller 1 has 30 seconds of recording and can't run the new BF series. Controller 2 has 3 minutes of recording and can control the BF and the old ones (at the same time). Gus this is who I got mine from, and sheep also got a set from the same guy - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Subaru-...emZ110022678664 - they're not BF, but have STI branding and the illumination colour is an exact match for the green and red on your dash. Although you've seen them anyway so you know the score.

My first was a 1:20! Think that was the one where there was a bit of a kerfuffle down the railway straight though. But then 1:10 and 1:11, lifting to let the 340r get past on the second, 1:09 on the last run before the red flags, and I was on a stonking lap when they brought them out too [:'(] NEED MORE POWER! The people you can hear on the video are my cousin and his wife and their youngest son. I was out in the car with my other cousin. The two of them race legends and I was getting some tips off the faster one, and they were helping! Smooth in, don't steer more than you already have as it scrubs all the speed, just let it drift wide and hope it catches.

A lot of good ideas, but I agree with starting out relatively small scale. Personally I think flyers with every car/service/at the door are a great idea. We need to get some good ones made up. Would they be interested in co-branding them for the region perhaps? I like the events for enthusiasts at the garage a la tomorrow in Falkirk. So try for that. Build up a relationship and see what progresses. Don't go on the first date expecting the full service []. Good on you too Craig.

Hello and welcome to the forums. 8K from a set of bridgestones isn't so good if they are REO50. I got 30K combined out of 2 sets with 3 trackdays under them, with 4 left over that I now use on the track that are probably borderline legal. An 03 car will take any subaru fitment wheels just about. It's only the 05 onwards STIs that have the larger PCD.

I drove through the park earlier on when I was out for a wee jaunt. There was a nissan almera with viper stripes coming the other way. I just about had a wee cry to myself. Have the speedbumps in the park not killed the cruise? I know I was bricking it getting over some of them in my car. And welcome to the club by the way!

My mate got married a few weeks back and mine was used. Had to pickup the bride from a house down a dirt track in lanark so it was manky before we even got to the church.
