  1. Defi is a brand name of the Nippon Seiki company. Defi is a french word which means "challenge". Nippon Seiki are a manufacturer of instrumentation panels for a large number of car manufacturers, including Subaru. Their Defi branded goods are aftermarket gauges for things such as Boost, Oil Temp etc. etc. They are reassuringly expensive because they are the dogs dangly bits. http://www.defi-shop.com/ Oh and I have the STI Genome gauges, which are Defi items with the STI logos on them. Very nice indeed they are. I got them off ebay, but the seller has none in just now it seems.
  2. What speed cameras? I travelled that road 5 times a week for 18 months and don't remember any caneras. Plus I don't remember any from the last time I used it on the way to Knockhill.
  3. There's no speed camera on the A80 as far as I know. It's the one with the little chef at it.
  4. Welcome to the forums mate.
  5. 4 will be fine JC. You should have enough grub to satisfy the morning rush, then we'll send someone out for more goodies later if needed []
  6. Craig - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=l&hl=e...011566&om=1 It's the wee offshoot of the A80.
  7. The one just off the A80 Craig. About a mile and a half short of the arches.
  8. I'll also chip in for a BBQ. Easy enough to nip out near lunch for some supplies?
  9. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/f/a9458...835017dc4aa.htm Watch the guy in the video. Quite good drifting, but his gear knob is utterly class.
  10. I've never done any 1/4 mile stuff before and I'm not exactley going to challenge the big boys at crail, but what's the best way to get off the line without: a) Making an erse of my self. Destroying my clutch
  11. He's already booked in for a few laps with the unknown stuntman. []
  12. Class Craig. I've passed it on to my process mapping colleagues.
  13. Looks like Glasgow are going the back way, so wont be going through Edinburgh. Not sure who else is down on the list from Edinburgh, but I'm sure they'll post some times. Either way we're intending on being at the gate for 9:45 to meet up with Dundee and Aberdeen contingent.
  14. 8:30 at Shell Cumbernauld. Peter says he knows the best way to go, and we'll need to get fuelled up there too. See you all there.
  15. If you go here and click on the mods section you can see all of mine: http://www.motortopia.com/vehicles/view/p/...i/the_batmobile
  16. You'll soon get those discs worn out with a few more goes round Knockhill. []
  17. Good pictures. Fixed the wee mistook for you too.
  18. 3 for me too. The run we did in February to Helensburgh for a wee portion-o-chips was a cracking route so that's always a good plan to keep in the back pocket in case of emergencies. Got to agree with Peter regarding the grub. Would much rather we decamped down to his for a wee Satay should it be decided an evening of inane banter is in order rather than a run. Oh and the Lancia - simply outstanding.
  19. Paul, it's late and I'm emotional after reading Craig Mac's love letter to WUZ, but I'll look into this for you as I have a shiny new MP3/Video/Picture viewer/recorder.
  20. Wuz, you could be my cowboy anytime mate [] Thank you for all assistance you've provided me either via PM (for my defis) or that you've provided to others which I have read to further my understanding of these great cars. If we take a look at scottish built Imprezas that are real road weapons then you are responsible for a good share of them. I'm sure some of your detractors wouldn't even get a mention. Good luck with whatever you decide mate, you are an always will be an asset to the community.
  21. Nae probs JC. I'll get these bampots in line.
  22. Think that's the plan big man. 9:45 at the gate with JC.
  23. Will get some times sorted out tonight at the Glasgow meet and post up.
  24. Can I just pay for the girls to wash eash other instead? []
  25. Craig, mine's on Teins with the Scott Lowe Splitter which adds maybe an inch of depth to the bumper and I've caught it a few times, including damaging it on a speed bump in bathgate. If you've gone for a real low number you'll really have to watch yourself.
