You don't have to own a Subaru to be in the SIDC. I might not have one by then but possibly be in a Type-R. (heaven forbid that appears in True Grip ) Shall we tell all Scottish Elises who make up the numbers at our KH track-day (and many of whom are SIDC members) not to get involved as well? I'm sure some of the kids will be delighted even if the pressies arrive in a Toyota YARIS!! (sorry Dave!! ) The more the merrier IMHO.

Picture the scene. Friday evening, Jim Clark Rally stage and we are heading of from the start to our marshalling point. Ian (zeolite) and I were ahead in the wagon with Spooks following close behind in Rosie's CORROLLA!!!!!!!!!! Ian was showing me the finer points of left foot braking when suddenly he shouted "he's crashed, he's crashed he's crashed!!!" We pulled up sudddenly and ran back up to a 90 degree left hander (bone dry) to find Spooks and Rosie in the ditch in 4ft grass!!! No damage to the car due to the soft verge and the young lads on the hill got their best crash of the day!!!! (Spooks got his only cheer!!!)

I could speak to the chaps at Eaglesham and Harvey or Ralph up at Halleys? Haven't been about as many of you may know car is for sale and I have been off work for 9 months. What about getting some of the lads at Type-R Scotland involved?

Rolled my first car (dad's old Chevvy HS2.3) over a 6 ft fence into Loch Lomond!!!! Only thing damaged was my mates eye when the 1.5 litre bottle of Frascati hit him on the head! (no bottles of Grolsh or any lattice fencing was harmed in this proccess) Last car (200bhp Ibiza Cupra Sport16v) was lost in a field early one morning whilst dreaming of breakfast!!!!

Mucho cheapness!!!! I don't want to have to start breaking it up as no job offers are being flung my way!!

I just don't beleive everyone on here is paying over a grand for insurance. Even when I had zero NCB and my girlfriend on the policy at 28 I was still under £900. (and not even L&V!!!!!!!) So who's having a pop now Grasshopper??
