You should have got Avril Lavigne's autograph Dave, was she not playing the Gaitey last night!!!!??!!!! Seriously though, I'm still in the same boat but my incapacity payments are a little higher but still not enough to pay the bills. Register with all the companies and if you want to give me a bell I have other ideas that might suit you. I am still doing my LGV training but it is taking WEEKS before I even start driving. If something comes up before then I will need to take it and I have about one interview per week atm.

Del, comments like that could get me into trouble. Yes I had a spirited drive in a car loaned to me for the evening. I did not exceed, or even try to reach any limits the car possesed. Harvey Taylor (sales manager for Halley's of Milngavie) is registered on these forums and hopefully soon, the dealership will be offering some discounted services to SIDC members. Regards Dougs

I am trying to be realistic and I have listened and probably have heard the majority of views over the years. The lanyard idea is, as I have said before, the best solution to the issue of getting to know people. I personally however, am not convinced that I would wear one unless at a track day like KH or Kames. Again this is what the majority of people I have spoken to have intimated. The marquee would be great but I don't see where the funding is going to come from. The club is gaining strength in Scotland and the forum has NEVER been as busy. We will never be able to please everyone but hopefully this will be a great season to look forward to. A meeting of the ROs will hopefully take place very soon and we can discuss things further.

Your point is? I am trying to get some twin cat centre sections made for SIDC members use. If anyone has classic or bug/blob eye centre sections they are willing to donate to the club, again please e-mail or PM me.
