  1. Tried the h/brake off (level garage so no worries about it rolling) but still jams solid if damp/wet. Only way is to put it away with brakes hot - but 99% time forget
  2. Ditto ! Same with the Alcons. Sometimes its quite difficult to free them. Hope I'm not damaging anything.
  3. Plugs are input for the head unit. Onscreen choices allow FM AM DVD Video. The video choice accesses what you have plugged into the RWY in the rear seat/centre "box".
  4. Yes and you still get the audio messages from sat-nav over-riding DVD audio IIRC.
  5. Probably about the same cost as if you had a separate gauge for each parameter you are monitoring, but much tidier/neater than having gauge pods stuck somewhere. Easy to flick between map etc and gauges for quick check when on road. On trackdays you'd leave display on gauges all the time. Have a look in http://subaruhatch.forumotion.com/f7-ice-security for info on mp3 etc.
  6. One option is an engine monitoring system. I use HKS Camp2 system. 3 analoge or 1 analogue+5 digital.
  7. Just discovered these in Watton. Wanted a car lift to do a quick oil change ready for Friday RR session. Got 5 lifts, 7 bays, welder/fabrication bay, all tools supplied, experts on site to advise. Very reasonable hourly rates. Well pleased. Very clean too. Owner has a 650BHP classic and the most powerful normally aspirated Honda in the UK. Recommend them for any DIY jobs if you don't have your own facilities. 8. I much prefer the equal length sound. Std headers sound unbalanced (which they are) and not as "smooth" IMHO.

  13. I assume that's not a new exhaust then Congratulations !!
  14. Looking forward to it ! Hope to get car back in the next week or 2 Is lack of sleep caused by work or small new addition ?
  15. Hi Mark, How are you doing ? NBO=Northern Big One !! http://bbs.scoobynet.com/northern-england-...e-the-list.html Stan
  16. Hi all, As per title. Convoy on the day ? Stan
  17. You'll have to forgive us for not having the good taste that you obviously have - we can't all live in Scun thorpe Its now clear that buying a hatch in order to try to impress people was a big mistake - we should have bought it just because we like how it looks, how it drives (after a few simple mods) and because its such an improvement (as a car) on the old shape. I'm sure that a Rover 25 with the mods you describe would be a much better car and would fit in with the tasteful lifestyle and image you clearly have, something to which we should all aspire
  18. Whats not to like ??? Some people are so narrow minded!!! Had a bit of fun this morning. S#, diff set to stun (manual) with just one bar showing, and skid control set to off. Great fun if nothing about ! Only about 3-4" here but still managed to scoop up a load in the lower intake.
  19. Fabulous looking car !! Wouldn't want to have paid his bills tho !
