As always Craig. [] As put in previous posts - I will always try and help guys out where I think they have been "unfairly" treated. [] Did you get the standard "on this occasion" letter yet????

I bought a car from there about 4 1/2 years ago. Had no probs with the car but had an issue with the salesman when we met in stirling to do the change over. I believe they have another garage called Killermont car sales too.

I have one on my MY97 Jim. I'll look through the documents tonight, but I think the boss came from Deamon Tweeks. It was the previous owner who fitted it.

ABZ- Police Speed Trap - Broomhill Road

Right, forgot to say above (and having trouble with post edit). And this may be causing the confusion. The reason the 14 day rule will not apply is because they DO NOT need to use recorded delivery, so otherwise we could all just say the NIP wasn't served within 14 days (Assuming we are the registered keeper) and there would never be any convictions. Trust me, they want the money and the system aint THAT soft. Hope this clears up my post. -

Andy, Quote what you like. I will go by knowledge, experience, lawyers and THE LAW. NOT quotes, from some scamera site, besides this post was never about a scamera partnership issue. [] So beware....... 14 day rule option, wont help you in Scotland. I will happly advise people where I can on these kind of matters. And have done on many occasions........some have even posted on this thread. [] 100% sucsess to date. [] I am in NO WAY looking to give faulse info. I'm sure anyone who knows me will vouch for that, what would I have to gain?????? Nothing. Not looking to argue, just make people aware. No hard feelings here m8, but we may have to agree to disagree. [] Like I say I aint looking to argue mate, so you can post away, I will not be replying on this matter again. Thanks Duncan -

I aint going to argue here but the 14 day rule does not apply in Scotland. I can assure you of this. I have seen people go to trial expecting the case to get thrown out because of this but it didn't. They ended up with a far bigger fine for trying it too. It is a guideline, but not a law. I dont know everything by any means but find a better way out than that. I looked into it all a fair bit, more out of interest than anything. [] Yes bad advice is everywhere, but research well and speak to the right people and its not difficult to find the loop holes. I'm not in the habit of fighting convictions but I can if I feel its unfair. -
Love the look of this car too. But aint parting with that cash.

Guys, Be VERY carefull when listening to the advice on pepipo. Scottish law can vary significantly from English. I know a little bit about it [] but not a lot, (Eh Craig [][]) 1) We do not go by the 14 day notice 2) We do not go by the recorded delivery rule. 3) The "PACE" theory does not work in Scotland Also there are a lot of police / bad advice over there. There a lot of loop holes, but be carefull. Remember if you do the crime, be willing to do the time. [][] -

It wouldn't be too difficult to get out of this one even if they were to follow it up. [] Although they don't actually need any "evidence" as such. Their statement is enough in most courts. (if you take it that far) With camera van cases, it is the operators statement that is used as the main "evidence" as they must decide that you are breaking the speed limit and then activate the video. Not leave it running all the time. Cough Cough. But......................... Normally they will pull you over in your mates situation. I would say your friend can rest easy on this one. I'm led to believe there is a drive on reducing speeding around schools at the moment. All this is "speculation" of course and I know nothing about it. [] PM if you need help / advice. -
Glad you got her back. And no more micra, a bonus in itself. []

Looks like he's gone for the Evo look - vortex generator - diffuser on the rear bumper. Only problem is he got the diffuser on the rear bumper so so so wrong!!!!!!!!! Like said above, could look good if toned down and put into proportion. []

A wash and a magic tree!!!![]

Probably still need the scoop, seal and under bonnet frame bit too. (the bit the seal attaches to). I was looking to do the same to my classic, but it was going to end up costing more than a new aftermarket TMIC.
-
What year of wrx and what year of sti TMIC??????

The silver Evo is Donald's. A nice machine too. It is a FQ330 but is running about 370 last I heard. []

Do you mean the 19 of November???? 9'th December is a Saturday, and is a month away. -
lot of good reviews and comments on this thread now. I jave come from an Accord Type R, Cal from a CTR and a few have been up against them on B-Roads. Was that the January run that I met you at Dundee Grant??? That was a good un!!! I plan to do that one again this year. I think if we take off our blonkers for a while, we see that there are other cars out there that can give us a run for our money. We buy the cars we want and the cars we can afford. The Scoob ticked all my boxes. It was less than I sold the ATR for, it had 4WD ans a turbo. Just what I wanted at the time. And tunning parts are readily available. Unlike the ltd ATR. The CTR is a very capable car and very very involved. Just as Hona intended. The braking and steering feel is absolutely imense, better than any other car I have driven. The scoob feels faster but also makes me feel withdrawn a little, if that makes sence. It gives you the feeling that you are a beter driver than you are. Hope this is coming out right, not looking to take the mick of scooby drivers (including me) but its hard to word what I mean. I knew I should have stuck in at school. [:$] Anyway, thats my thoughts.
