U should get your lambda sensor checked out m8 as this controlls the fueling when the car isnt on WOT might be overfueling...do u have an air fuel ratio meter fitted?

does anyone have the wireing diagram for a my95/96 ecu so i can save it 2 my hardrive?

Hiya people need some urgent help wireing in my SPA shift light.I need 2 know what wire from the ecu is the tacho[rev counter]. Its a my96 wrx does anyone have the complete wireing diagram 4 the ecu?or perhaps u wired yours diffrently? any information or input would be greatly apreciated. smashy.;}

Yes all jdm cars have the emergency flair [usualy in a clip under the clovebox on the door pillar ..ive still got mijne in the car......the temptation 2 set it offf is quite bad:}

the condensation oon the bootlid .....u need 2 check in where the jack and toolkit are beind the side trunk lineing and look right down with a torch ,what most people dont realise is that u do get some leakage from the top of the rear window .i checked mine recently and found it 2 be about 10cm.s deep in water on both sides down near the bottom of the rear arches [there are small drainage inserts at the lowest piont and these were both blocked ]i simply levred them out with a small screwdriver and blew them out with an airline[i musta got atleast a litre of water out]it dosent steam up any more.}

just fitted a full h&s ststem lasr week sounds awsome....sounds like a nascar at high revs ..its costing me a fortune in petrol listening 2 it

lo peeps just wired in my knocklink and not getting satisfactory results.wired it in turned on power and i get 1 led light up[2 show its on i presume]i then turn sensitivity up 2 max and guive it a drash up the road only reaction i can get from it is the power led doubles in brightness when i get up near the red line.also if i tap the bulkhead near knocksensor [what they recomend doing 2 test knocklink ,i dont get any reading on it].now is it the knocklink with a faulty sensativity circulit or is it my knocksensor not reading anything. i know most of u peeps must have a knocklink im wondering if anyone else has had this problem also id be interested on your theorys as 2 why iys not working propperly.

usualy it turns out 2 be the MAF sensor or the lambda sensor good places 2 start

ello m8 its a shame its not an import cause [not alot of peeps know this]as the jap versions of impreza arnt listed in the MOT book [only uk 2000 turbo]theres a clause that says if a car isnt listed it should be tested 4 normal emissions ie. no cat test ,my 96 wrx is exempt so i can take MOT with full decat.It also aplied 2 my old mr2 turbo.Trouble is not alot of testers even know this ....fortunately mine does..theres probably past posts on the subject.my car has ggod emissiones with no cat at all but im not sure how the later models run with full decat...

At last ive got my scoob wrx v-limited.....picked it up today from southampton........its stunning and i love it already......BUT......on receiving the car the bird gets out and says we had 2 jump it and the breaks are a bit dodgy,so i say ok thats no problem ive got a battery and jump leads and she goes away.I get in the car and see that at somepoint some1 has stolen the sterio and ripped apart the centre consul trying 2 do it so thats a new consul face needed.......so i just say ok 2 myself its not that bad .Ithen go 2 drive away and find the clutch is gone also only about 2cm of depth on the pedal before it slipps[i then drove it 250 miles back into devon am i good or what?]so nearly died on several hills.so im now faced with about a 400 pound bill i wasnt expecting[ill fit the clutch myself].Apart from that i love it and im chuffed to f*ck.Makes me think cause on any other car id be damn angry right now ..but who cares ive got it now....LET THE MODDING BEGIN

Hopefully they checked the flywheel 4 cracking when they fitted new clutch[its quite commom on scoobs 4 some reason]if not ull need a new clutch in half the time.Hope its ok though m8

might just be reseting the ecu m8 i did it 2 my mr2turbo and it idled and ran like a bag of s**t but then eventualy it righted itself.aparently it takes many restarts of the engine as the ecu only recalibrates a small amount on each start......[this is what ive heard anyway so might be wrong but it fits;}

yes im interested in a brake upgrade.....but it would be nice if the upgraded calipers take the original pattern brake pad.........do they?if so who do u recomend?

fitted a magnex downpipe 4 a customer on his 95 wrx the bolts were seized but came out after abit of 2ing and frowing.the flange was also thicker than the original leaving only minimal thead protuding had 2 find some longer ones also most importantly the lambda sensor hole was diffrent sise 2 original,significantly larger so drilled and tapped out a large bolt that fitted 2 take the sensor [bolts with suitable thread hard find]....runs ok now though. just thaught u should be aware of these kind of problems..although in retrospect scooby sport anre suposed 2 be quite good so u may be ok inm getting the full exhaust myelf soon.

Hi peeps i will be wanting 2 remap my ecu .Ilive in devon so does anybody know somewhere preferably within 100 miles thats good and does a good job.Also who does the best remaping,i see there are several ways of doing it ...piggyback ecu,s ..where as some just remap the standard ecu.....whats best?who has the best system 4 doing it...can i trust my pride and joy 2 them
