About Cheesy Puff

  1. << Cheesy, 1/5th is to easy, try 1/12th scale with contact Mark >> 1/5th is easy? found these the most challenging so far out of all the classes ive run over the years, the things dont stop until they hit something hard when you get it all wrong. However contact is not good when flying heli's lol, any one else here into RC(toys says Nicola). Hiya Pele/Lee Ive been busy with model racing at the mo and Nicola's dad has been in hospital again, so Ive not been about much also just had enrolment week at work (college) so have been covering/setting that up. Cheese......
  2. Hi Im currently an IT network support bod (tech dogsbody) at a local college. Im also into radio controlled models in my spare time when not fiddling with the scoob. I tried my hand at rc helicopters but havent really had the time as Ive been racing 1/5th scale touring cars recently, if any one is interested we race almost every other Sunday at a place called Brooklands near Ashford/lydd area its a good spectator sport if your down that way one Sunday. check out http://www.brooklandscircuit.co.uk/ for race dates, the big scale stuff is marked in blue. Its good fun as they do about 60 mph, there proper Bo I tell thee. Cheese....
  3. The Crayford meet is is in the Mc Ds carpark by the clock tower, I saw Redraw (or heard should I say) going past my house on his way down there last week. Hey Redraw it was me in the mica red classic wagon who went past your house the other day when you had the bonnet up, you must have been polishing the engine as your car always looks spotless. Cheese...
  4. Be carefull with this guys as Directline tried to rip me off this year, my renewal went up so I started looking about for better deals. I then found that you get a cheaper quote from Directline when you use their online serveice, I rang them and they had to end my current policy and stort the online one and I saved £150. This is bloody stupid as new customers signing up online get a better deal than loyal customers renewing, this is probably why thay just send you a note saying that they will carry out all the renewal process for you and not to worry about doing anything. They endup better off and its very unfair. Cheese...
  5. Hi Im in the same boat at the mo, I bought something for my model cars from a seller with over 1000 feedback and its been 4 weeks and I have not recieved it yet. I have emailed the guy a few times with no reply, and tonight Ive found that I cant claim the money back now as its over 30 days since I paid him. Im gutted as Ive lost £170 and Im getting nowhere, see if the ebay page says buyer protection on it and at least you can make a claim(but within 30days). Hope you have a better turnout than me Cheese...
  6. wow ur quick, beaten to it again lol
  7. Damn!!! Now we cant use the "wait until its wet" line anymore..... lol Cheese...
  8. Hi Im back now We were staying in Playa Den Bossa near the airport and right opposite Space Been going for years but first time Ive been able to get on the net from the hotel and brag , We (me and bird) went to Pacha for a seven hour set with Roger Sanchez (oh happy days) which was nice but at about £15 for two bottles of beer makes you understand why drugs are such a big thing out there lol. Anyways I can feel a big(ish) spend on the scoob comming on to ease my pain of returning to cold blighty and work , sad to think that only 24 hours ago I was burning in the sun and quenching my thirst with yet another cheap beer lol. Back to the grind as they say, now wheres my car keys I need a scoob fix to ease me back in. P.S. As for the trannies last year I got pulled up on stage at the hotel by the local tranny entertainer and he/she (it) stipped me down to my boxers in front of about 250 people Cheese the tanned!
  9. Hi all Just thought I would say hello as im in Ibiza at the mo, weather is hot and I come home at the weekend. Not may scoobs out here so at least i have something to come home too. see ya all soon Cheese.
  10. Hey Redraw I just realised Ive been driving past your house on the way home from work for ages, I wondered whos car it was. I work at the local college and me and a mate were behind you the other day near your house but we were in a little white ford van, I forgot my self and raced up behind you (as much as I could in a van lol) and you buggered off and left us then you turned onto your drive. If I see you again Ill toot but watch out for a small white ford van or you will think its some nutter if Im not in my scoob too. Cheese...
  11. Hi All Just to let you know I just went to Halfrauds to get one of those universal Lambdas for my sisters car and they are on special offer at the moment at half price, making the one we got £12.50. Worth a try at that price, you can get the adaptor to convert it to the Subaru plug or just cut and solder your original plug on. L100 = 1wire L200 = 2wire L300 = 3wire (This one works on my scoob) L400 = 4wire And no I dont work for Halfrauds but I wish I did as I wouldnt of paid full price for mine about 2 months ago Cheese....
  12. Hi Redraw Im from Bexleyheath too so you may see me about, I always try to wave and shout at other scoob drivers but sometimes it affects my driving Cheese... Mica Red Wagon (NOT ESTATE) MY00
  13. Am I the only one here with an XBOX?, you lot have got to try Project Gotham Racing (poo name I know) once your good the others seem really slow and its online. Also anyone remember Super Cars 3 on the Amiga? heat seeking missiles and mines could really come in handy on the scoob wouldnt have to use the "if it was wet and twisty I would have done you" excuse anymore. Cheese....
  14. Well Ill eat my hat! lol How silly of Subaru to do that for about a centimeter difference, They do say size matters though. Cheese....
  15. About the rear lights, I was under the impression that wagon and saloon rear lights are the same. They sure look the same but I guess they may have different fittings but why Im not sure. Have seen that some places advertise lights only for saloon but Im sure they are the same, I may have to take one off my wagon and compare it to my mates saloon. Cant see whay they are different the rear bumper etc is the same, if you blank off the extra bit of roof on a wagon as you look at it the rear pillar etc makes it look identical to the saloon. Could be wrong though.... Cheese
