About Bigears

  1. No £65 fitting charge for me, free part and free fitting, the garage said it was covered by the alarm people and they would be paying for everything.
  2. I called into my local dealer to get the batteries changed in both key fobs (both seeed to be just about dead), it was a quick 5 min job, can't remember how much it cost (so it couldn't have been much). But I found out later there was nothing wrong with the key fobs, it was the alarm system getting interferance from radio masts. So there was another quick call to the local dealer who sorted it out 'free of charge' by fitting a sheilded part. Hope yours is just the batteries, but if you have a helpful dealer it won't be a problem anyway.
  3. I had the same problem, I did use the code to override the alarm, but was a bit of a pain, I rang my local Subaru garage (not the garage I got the car from) and they said it was a known problem with the Sigma alarms (even told me where I parked when the problem occured), they said it was easily solved, they ordered the new part for the alarm, booked the car in and it was done for FREE! When they put the new part in you get a new PIN number.
