    Whatever that triangle hole is for it is there for a reason as it is on both the gearboxes I have in the shed, I would check that plate on the back (drivers side) of your engine mate. Cheers Iain

    Are you sure that it is gearbox oil and not engine oil from the plate on the back of the engine behind the clutch? I have 2 gearboxes in the shed I will go have a look and see if the triangle is on them, I am sure it was on one of them as I remember thinking the same thing when I removed it. Cheers Iain
