In an undisclosed location somewhere in the west of scotland i took the "A road bomber" out for big licks. even low boost is quick. when that is changed to the high setting its as if the car is telling me whats happening!!! just goes like a rat up a drain pipe being chased by 1000 tall indians with hot pokers. i promise i wont post again about my remap or my new power but im just so excited at the moment i cant hide it. so many responses to reply to here. The torque figures should be very good hopefully. The BHP should be good also. Last night was a good wee run. The days of impulse overtaking and making ground on corners are behind me im happy/proud to say, but the power getting there is superb!! The car just seems to gain power instantly and stays boosting smoothly and agressively right through the range. I came to work this morning in Edinburgh and ran on the low boost setting most of the way, then pressed my secret button and BOOM the strange nightrider whine appears and the car rocketed like never before. I was very focused on figures before i got it done. Now TBH i am so happy with the car the way it is, i dont mind or have any idea what BHP/torque i will get........... Hperflow topmount coming in the next few days hopefully (AWD) and then a wee tweak again of the ECU. Private rolling road this Friday i think.

Today after a long wait of running off bosst (overall) i visited Andy to get the remap. Last night and most nights before i couldnt sleep in anticipation of what was coming, and couldnt wait to get through there this afternoon. Andy set about working his magic and my car slowly but surely began to come round to the new way of thinking. The boost was taken back down to normal levels and the brain was told to start thinking again. After a couple of hours of nervous anticipation i now have the car i was hoping for !!!!! I then met up with Matt and the "B road bomber" and went for a wee drive. The car was running so well i couldnt beleive it until................................................................... THE GEARBOX WENT !!!! On Matts car Apart from that technical problem with the bomber it was a great day !!!!! Thanks Andy
