torque is lower than i expected but... it can be improved. 400bhp is good for me.

lol, this has been good the last few times. thought we could all meet up in glasgow and meet more folk at kincardine bridge.

thanks gordy, the torque is 340 at the moment.......... for now..... 1.4bar boost aslo. the low boost setting of 0.6bar is 340bhp which is good for going to work mode

yes mate, thats with a standard STI cooler. the car was slightly hotter than i would have liked as well when they started kicking it. 8th October i hope to get that down before it rolls and get 405+

Hi I Ihave just come back from Dastek this minute, via undisclosed b roads with exciting news on the final result!!!! My MY53 STI8 now has been matched up with a new hybrid turbo, gt spec headers and a 3 inch hayward system. This accompanied with my APS CAI with bird feeder through the front fog cover, bigger fuel pump and regulator has given me a confirmed over 2 runs.................................... 403 BHP and a torque figure that just fits in nicely below it. SO THANKS AGAIN TO ANDY FORREST, AND WELCOME TO THE 400BHP PARTY

pete EBC grooved and semi drilled discs with red stuff pads. been on the track a few times now and these are bad brakes. the speed out the corners was the only thing that stopped me getting smoked to bits. having to brake under the bridge on the straight to stop by the corner isnt good fun. dont buy these brakes if your planning on going on track.

FOR SALE My place on this event is for sale to anyone that wants it. i was in track tonight and with needing new brakes and having to shell out for all my new mods this month i could do without the fuel, brakes or anything going wrong on the day hassle. that aside. we went to KH this evening to take part in this tracknight. paid the £50 as usual, got 5 laps in before the EBC "track" driscs let me down in a big way. DONT BUY THEM. then as someone mentioned a jaguar spilled its sump all over the whole track from start to finish and we all waited patiently as they threw down cement dust to dry it up. Finally when this was done, we started again and got one more lap before the chequered flag was produced for the end of the night!!!!!!!!! £50 fee, £50 fuel. new Mintex 1155's ordered again. wash out
