<< << scuse my ignorance but where is it? I'm in Edinburgh and really fancy it >> Pedro...You're not the Green wagon that goes up Corst Hill with the dog are you ? >> The very one, you don't happen to drive a blue'ish wagon do you cos I keep seeing a gorgeous one up there. Also a girl stopped me yesterday up there and said that her dog was going nuts over the exhaust sound cos her husband used to have a scoob and it thinks my car is his. But he sold it and got a Civic . noooooooooooo

I bought my car there and have had some entertaining visits since so I would like to go and see what they are trying to do. Everyone makes mistakes and I agree we can't hold grudges, if they want to push forward and change surely we must give them a chance? count me in

Welcome to the forum PPP will make a huge difference, sound much sweeter. More power throughout the rev range, pulls away much cleaner. Shouldn't make a "huge" difference to the insurance if with a Subaru friendly insurer Price is generally the same

Posted this in general discussion but this is my trip to David Morrisons. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vix and I went to the new Subaru dealer in Falkirk yesterday, used to be called "Drive". It was going ok, a gorgeous WR1 sat on the forecourt with morettes on at £29,500 and we were sitting in the new STI inside, I had probs with the legroom and asked the salesman whether it was less than my WRX, he didn't know but was quite friendly. Then I asked about the colour range as Iwasn't into the silver/grey colour he had no idea what other colours it was available in??WTF!!!!! So we found a brochure and looked ourselves. I asked what my car was worth and considering I bought it for them 12 months ago and it was £13,500 on the window he offered me £8000!! Then he had the cheek to say " Its a bit of a jump from £8000 to £28000 isn't it ". Now I'm not a show off when it comes to money but how the f**k does he know if I can afford £28,000, I could but he won't be getting a single f****g penny. Not amused with a salesman who knew nothing about the product and with an awful attitude, not a good way to start your new revamped business is it. I'm gonna wear a hooded top and trainers every time I look at cars now and if I get the same treatment I'm going somewhere else even if its Mitsubishi. Oh yeah, the STi was fantastic but nowhere near as good looking as the WR1

Andy, thats not your car at the Karting centre at tranent is it?
-
I'm presuming you mean myself and Dad then I am an old hand at Holland driving guys I buy all my flowers there and visit regularly(last weekend) Tom Tom does the trick too. I only need an hour in the Dam, if you get my drift. Seriously considering this keep us posted.

Vix went along and asked about test driving the WR1, they seemed pretty OK about it. I got my car there but wasn't impressed with the service and know about a horror story of a friend who bought his STI8 there Used Noble's for my servicing since but even they "forgot" to change my oil.
-
I'm quite tempted by this, I'm sure Skunk & Dad would be too? What does the ferry cost?

congratulations but shame about the motor -
<< A F Nobles in Penicuik - 01968 672003, You will see several recommendations for them on here. Established for a long time so actually well trained staff Also, could try Eden Subaru in Fife - new dealership who seem to be getting some good recommendations. Brian >> Had no probs with Nobles before but I checked my oil levels before the trackday and it was half empty, it was serviced a month ago. 45,000 miles No oil leaks or blue smoke so can only think they havn't changed it. Can't prove it dunno whether to say to them or not, thats bad if they havn't what about the filter, could have done me engine in?

The flames out the back of your car as I was following you into the hairpin were mad, I could have cooked a steak on them, flame grilled anyone.
