  1. Excellent! Glad to see the car is up and running and ready to do battle
  2. My First Forester built up 186k in four years when I sold it It was running like a dream still with only regular scheduled maintenance so, the 100k thing is a lot of bull
  3. Great Find Derek now get the "Red Bull" sticker kit bought
  4. Holly shamolly mate, I wouldnt be driving with that on! That deffo looks like impact damage and could be the reason for the car pulling. Blame E.H. for that and tell them to get it replaced. I wonder if the " surprise Eagle F1" in the boot is some sort of "compensation" for someone sha$$ing your wheel Bound to be someone on here with a spare Sti wheel kicking around
  5. Dont think you have any shout with the garage over the wheel after taking the car away BUT it might be worth a try . Regarding the battery, with the car sitting around so long, it may have just gone flat, my newage and my current car both go flat over two or three weeks if they are not turned over. Hopefully thats all it is
  6. It was D2's I had on the Forester. Built quality was excellent but I have to say they were extremely harsh on our not so fine scottish roads even on a decent setting Might be better on the Impreza tho
  7. Ryan, classic centre section is approx 1350mm. Hope that helps!? Gus
  8. Shame it wasnt still fitted as you could probably have borrowed a classic centre from someone to see how it all sits and fits together and made your mind up from there. Hope you get sorted out whatever you decide to do Might be worth checking out the Hayward and Scott website as I'm almost certain they do the classic centre for the newage with their Downpipe IIR
  9. Ryan, The bellmouth DP in the pic looks like a classic one so, If thats been on a WR1 it must have had the classic centre section fitted (classic centre is about 3" longer than the newage) so would make up the difference required. Personally I'd be trying to get the £'s back rather than bu$$ering about with different exhaust parts and buying a newage downpipe. S304 stainless ones can be had for £150 or so. Gus
  10. Cathy, this even puts me to shame now And your new user name is " Cathy 3 Scoobs" Enjoy!!!!
  11. some paper round Happy Birthday Stewart, have fun with the new camera
  12. Jammy bassa One of these days I'll get the Sti one
  13. As long as its for a classic then aye, fits perfectly
  14. Guys, is this back in the central belt for next weekend or is there a relay still required!? Cheers Gus
  15. much much better looking de chav is the way to go
  16. a very subtle change with the grills but works a treat
  17. Cathy, Manual S Turbo is the one to go for . Same things to look out for on an impreza tbh ie FSH etc.... but deffo check if it has self levelling rear suspension and if it has make sure the units have been replaced or are in good nick as they cost a fortune to replace If its got standard suspension set-up all the better Also, check its not been ragged by some auld farmer and more dents than my bank account on the underneath. Anything else just ask
  18. Aw depends how quickly Mrs Bus finds another job tbh that will determine if its here next year or not
  19. If its that good you better bring some to the Lothians meeting on the 29th and we can all sample some
