Took the Scoob to Hypertech on Saturday to get the geometry set-up with Fast Road settings Dealer had given a try setting the geometry to reduce wear on outside edge of front tyres - bzzzzzzzz WRONG ANSWER!! Geometry was well out and now I know why I was understeering on right hand bends. Thanks to Dunc & Dunc Junior at Hypertech, it's all sorted. Great service and very genuine, helpful folk What a difference Wish I'd had this done on previous Scoobs now Den

Yep - got mine today at last aswell. Already on the car - a wee bit smaller than I expected, especially the Scottish Saltire but they serve the purpose - acknowledging the memory of Colin McRae. Den

I got my latest Scoob in June MY07 STI and put the WRC graphics on it. Only other change is a TSL Group N back box & de-resonated centre section to make sure the Scoob burble is there. Not got fed-up of the graphics yet but did take John's (The Welsho) advice and did not go for the dayglo graphics just normal yellow. Den

Unfortunately, a lot of people are influenced by these times of PC and paranoia (spelling?). Clearly not in this case as it was not in a remote area but hasn't there been examples in the past where people stopping to help other motorists have been mugged, attacked, carjacked? Also some women decline help due to the fear of being attacked, assualted with men also equally wary of helping incase of being accused of this - it's a sad fact of today's society Can't understand why the 4 workies didn't lend a hand though or other motorists when they saw you helping??? Well strangely enough, I just had to return a centre section to TSL bought for my Hawkeye - no way that the floating flange would go far enough forward to connect to the downpipe - the bolts were not long enough even without the springs. Sent pics etc to TSL & they agreed something was not right and checked their stock. Apparently, their supplier made a mistake with the production run & someone forgot to machine the inside edge of the floating flange so that it could come far enough forward!!!! Now waiting on a replacement!! Might not be the case here but worth checking! Den

I know it's great when there are offers on new Imprezas or Special Editions - I h8 to keep saying it but, if you are looking to part ex against one (whether you currently have an impreza or not) it comes down to the 'cost to change'. I think we all know that the dealers will reduce the part ex prices given in line with any price reductions on new cars or on Special Editions loaded with extras that potentially reduce margins. We also have to consider the knock on effect these price reductions may have on depreciation of the cars we already own - I refer not only to the GB270 but also the reduced price of the standard WRX just announced. & now we know why there is a reduced price on WRX's at the moment and why they are saying that currently WR Blue WRX's are very rare - they want to clear out the other colours, keeping 300 WR Blue's back for this last 'Special Edition' scam. If all goes to plan the demand will be there for the last 300 WR Blue WRX's and at a price no doubt!! Got to love IM!! Den
