Looks a good buy for the money... Only thing i find strange is i am from Clydebank and there isn't many Scoobs about yet i don't recognise this one... that said it could be that he has just moved etc etc, not saying there is anything dodgy just worth asking the history....

Lovely car and cracking price! You could sell the exhaust, turbo's and Apexi PFC for not that far away from the £2k! Take it you plan a single turbo conversion if your aiming for 400bhp? RX7 FD is on the list of cars i will defo have at some point in my life!

Well, the impreza went about a month ago now and i've been looking at various new toys, 205 gti's, kit cars, TVR 350i's.... but, in the end i went back to a jap turbo..... went for a rev3 MR2 turbo.... picked it up today and have to say i'm loving it so far!! Here it is!

Ridiculous, hope the police took the right action and nothing more comes of it!

I'm from the general Clydebank vicinity, never heard the name but sounds like the kind of guy i wouldn't be trying to get to know anyway! As someone that has just sold a car privately 2 days ago i must admit the whole process worried me slightly, thankfully i got a really decent genuine guy and hopefully won't hear anything more of it. Silly question but does he know where your mate actually lives (did he go to the house to see that car?) Bit late now but i arranged to meet somewhere neutral in both the times someone came to see the car. Sorry i can't be of further help and i hope nothing comes of it, only advice i could give has already happened with contacting the police. Chris

I know, what a lazy b eh! lol When we bought the new house i thought i would walk but that extra 20 mins in bed gets me every time!!

I know, its strange, i used to do 25 a day for work and then a tonne of other running about but now i'm 1 mile from work and i generally use our other car (little clio diesel) for that. Well folks, looks like its gone already!

Lol @ fastone.. ach i know, i'll miss it, and i'll say with 99% confidence that it won't be the last subaru i own in my lifetime.... but for now it has to go. Got a couple of parties interested so far.

Lol.. i am crap so i suppose thats a start! I had a mondeo before, great big car but a bit uninspiring, v cheap to run and mine had every toy in the book, heated seats were brilliant this time last year! Think a 205 mi16 conversion is the order of the day!

Think its gonna go.. been looking about for an alternative / pricing insurance and things and it makes sense, now i have to go through the hassle of selling, great fun!

Since moving house i'm only doing about 50 miles a month and really struggling to justify havin the impreza due to insurance and stuff... toying with the idea of punting it and picking up a track toy, 205 GTi or something as i'm keen to get into track days and don't think this car is an ideal first track toy.... Only thing is since buying it 6 months ago i've spent over £1000 on it including box rebuild and new clutch, seems a waste now.. Anyone done anything similar, any thoughts?
