  8. Hi all, Not often you get something for free but this is for real. Had my laser alignment done at SVA Imports the other day and Raef was filling me in on their latest adventure. Drift day, this is on 18th November at Lydd raceway and is absolutely completely free to spectators. There will be practice on the 17th with the possibility of getting a go as a passenger in a drift car. If anyone wants to actually do drifting its £65 for the day. This will be attended by Jap performance mag and a few others. This day will be the start for SVA as next year they will be hosting a full series and the top 3 drifters will get a licence into D1 GB (but the name will change by next year.) Im gutted as I cant make this but maybe it could be a good Kent Scoobies day out and someone can do me a write up for the newsletter?? http://www.driftinternational.com/

  13. im in Sittingbourne, do I count? Not quite an island but still Swale[]
  14. Thats right the logo has changed but please note why... The guy that supplied us with the original stickers, logo etc will not let us have the file for the logo to be printed up by someone else. It was never an intentional plan to change a working formula.[]

  20. Anyway..... Back to the newsletter.....[:S] Any information sent already, thank you. anything you want to see in there let me have at least a week before the meets each month to give me enough time to edit and write up Cheers
  21. [][] Just got back from a great day getting my car fixed at a relatively new yet knowledgable group of guys known as Essex Subaru Breakers. I needed a radiator, rear hub, pair of rear shocks and 2 tyres. Got the whole lot on the shelf, supplied and fitted for just over £200. 2 guys run this, Mike and Jamie as something that has started as a hobby but is growing fast as the quality of work and parts is high and the price low. They are located just off the A127 so not too far for us to go. While I was there they were putting the finishing touches to an engine swap for a newbie from Dover. Engine swaps start from £850 supplied and fitted. I must also mention I only phoned them for the parts at 5 on Wednesday and Mike swapped a lot of personal work to fit me in today. As an added bonus, as I am such a nice guy I have managed to secure us 10% discount with them if you mention Kent Scoobies, cant be bad Huh???? There stock pile at the minute seems to be mostly classics but they can get pretty much anything you want. It was like an alladins cave, I'm suprised I left without more toys (Carbon prop anyone??) I will be giving them some space in the newsletter for next month but if you cant wait till then give them a call on 01268 572149 or 07747 618130. There is a website coming soon.
  22. Dean, PM me your email address and ill send them over, see what you think?
  23. I just did the format in word as its the most common. I print the newsletter on both sides of an A4 sheet but that can grow as we get more material. Just printed on white. Numbers is difficult, flyers are not going to change so loads of them, that way everyone can keep some in their glovebox. Newsletter, enough for the meet and hopefully a few more to put in local dealers??? Cheers Dean
  24. Oh pants too big again, but you can see the idea?
